Chapter 224 Part 1: Charlotte, You Are the Best Idol (1)

The living room is directly opposite the observation deck.

The morning breeze from Vienna brings the sound of birds flapping their wings, leaves rustling, and people whispering, along with the gentle sound of several national flags fluttering on the second-floor terrace of the hotel.

Xie Qingxuan finished her morning yoga and meditation.

Kirimi Miyuki completed her usual finger exercises and guitar practice.

Chu Wang Shu took a notepad and went to the hotel restaurant to memorize words.

Tang Liuli curled up on the sofa like a little kitten, dozing off. She listened to the little noises from outside, half-asleep and lost in messy memories.

It was not the first time she thought of those strange and colorful images.

But due to her earlier belief that these were all memories from Chu Yuanqing, the seeds sprouting from her heart and soul felt distant and disconnected, making it hard to piece together the scattered fragments.

Of course, the green-eyed cat had a vivid imagination, able to quickly create many possibilities in her mind when she was scared, forming a kind of safe space within her thoughts. If it weren’t for the strong emotions mixed in those memories, she would have only considered them as just daydreams while sleeping.

Well, in a way, this is a small worry unique to brilliant geniuses.

The Pure White Witch sat next to Tang Liuli, looking at her cute face, which had become a bit chubby from eating too much lately. She carefully poked it with her fingertip, feeling the soft and tender touch, and a smile appeared at the corners of her eyes.

Chu Yuanqing moved a little closer to Tang Liuli. She listened to her breathing and gazed at her peaceful and comfortable sleeping face, her eyes seemingly reflecting a lonely figure, thin and small, drained of all blood, like a cicada shell in the snow.

With this thought, Chu Yuanqing couldn’t help but stroke Tang Liuli’s warm face with her palm, whispering in her heart:

"Blood of Sighs, what kind of fate has led the past you to now?"

Bestow the true name.

That was at the very beginning of awakening, when the voice of heaven, responsible for interpreting the blessings, echoed in her ears.

The voice of heaven comes from planetary consciousness; it cannot grant humans blessings but can analyze blessing information, informing all awakened beings around the world of its abilities, effects, and costs, greatly reducing the time and effort spent in seeking out blessings.

Blood of Sighs, The Wall of Sighs.

Such blessings with the same prefix often come from the same awakened one.

In short, twin blessings.

These two blessings must have a complementary and supportive relationship.

Chu Yuanqing has a reason to think this way; after seeing that memory fragment, she not only recognized the true form of the blessing shown by Liuli before her death but also remembered that it, like The Wall of Sighs, existed within her.

However, The Wall of Sighs still works, while Blood of Sighs is in a state of not functioning, as if it were frozen.

This sounds a bit like the blessing she uses to become a witch; if certain conditions are not met, it is just a lantern-shaped pendant, showing no decorative effect.

The difference is that the pendant is free, but this blessing is merged deep within The Wall of Sighs, unable to be separated and serving no other purpose.

Chu Yuanqing understands that a blessing that complements The Wall of Sighs surely has the power of conceptual layers; the scene she saw of Liuli’s death does not fit the level of the blessing she holds, and combined with those fragmented words, the scene of the other’s death likely hides deeper truths.

The Pure White Witch did not want to think too much. She knew very well that she was not the only one carrying a heavy burden in this world, but facing the pain and despair that important people had experienced still made her feel sad.

Chu Yuanqing pressed her lips together, feeling sorry as she looked at Tang Liuli’s sleeping face. She gently touched the child’s hair and whispered in her heart:

"You must have had a very hard and sad time in the past."

"But that is all in the past. I won’t let those things happen again. All you need to do now is to be a little silly, a little foolish, a little carefree, and enjoy the peace of this era. Go find and embrace your happiness."

The painful, crazy, and twisted time that left the world in sorrow and shattered happiness, which gave rise to devils and demons, has been personally ended by her, forcefully extracting the Akasha records and burying them in a non-existent history.

"I promise you."

"Even if the Pure White will eventually collapse."

"Even if my death cannot be undone."

"Those thirteen Calamity Gods will not rise again, new walls will be built. They will replace me and the Pure White, continuing to protect the future we have jointly opened up."

Chu Yuanqing seemed to be making a wish, almost like she was taking an oath.

The pure white flower was blooming with a fragrant scent in her soul, serving as the only witness to the promise made by the nameless savior to bind herself. It seemed to taste better nourishment, blooming ever more vibrantly, its patterns shining brightly in a soft, pure light.

The pool of magical energy seemed to break through some limit, suddenly doubling its capacity, drawing closer to a higher realm.

Thus, the rate of transforming willpower inside the lantern suddenly surged, like silver magic being infused, further perfecting the magical script engraved in the flower’s heart, silently hinting at the outcome of the flower’s blessing.

Tang Liuli was deep asleep, and the moon’s wing pinned to her chest seemed to sense something, turning into a shimmering light that flowed into her soul’s "Cocoon of the Heart."

Soon after, the green-eyed cat awoke from the cozy dream world, blinking sleepily and seeing Honey Qing smiling at her, gently stroking her cheek. The cat’s cute little face looked dazed, as if Cupid had shot an arrow through her heart.

—Thump thump.

Tang Liuli’s sleepy spirit came to life with her heartbeat; she felt her blood overflowing with bubbles, crashing around her and bursting into joyful pink bubbles. Her soft lips lifted into a clear smile, as she nuzzled into the other’s embrace like a little animal.

Chu Yuanqing was already used to being attacked by the green-eyed cat, and as she recalled some memories of her, she felt particularly understanding. She didn’t stop it; in fact, she allowed the cat to bury its face in her chest, even when it made her skin itch.

The Pure White Witch gently stroked the little cat’s head, feeling its lively spirit, and felt very happy.

Tang Liuli lifted her little head, blinking her bright green eyes as she looked at the enchanting face, and happily said:

"Little Qing, good morning!"

Chu Yuanqing pinched her cheek and replied:

"Good morning! How did Liuli sleep? Are you ready to go out and have fun?"

Tang Liuli inhaled the inviting and peaceful scent coming from her, after taking in Honey Qing’s energy, she confidently said:

"Of course I’m ready! I promised Fan yesterday to find a place to shoot a video and record a song to share on Weibo."

Chu Yuanqing praised her for looking forward to the green-eyed cat’s performance today and handed her the camera that was resting on the table, saying with a smile:

"Today is your turn to shoot the video and you can use this for recording the song as well."

Tang Liuli picked up the camera in a daze and suddenly remembered something. She couldn’t help but feel a little sad; she was not like those media influencers, and was not used to going out as a moving camera!

The little girl’s heart began to imagine being stared at by passersby, making her scalp tingle with embarrassment, and for a moment, she felt the camera in her arms become hot.

Chu Yuanqing found this amusing. She wrapped her arms around the girl’s slender waist and, feeling the girl’s confused gaze, leaned down slightly. Her lips softly touched the girl’s forehead, bringing a cool and gentle sensation.

The kiss of the Pure White Witch was quick, as if it were a dream.

Tang Liuli stared blankly at Honey Qing, who looked a little shy but was trying to seem serious. She was so happy that her mind went blank, nearly feeling dazed, and started to doubt if she was still awake.

Chu Yuanqing also felt something was off. She found herself treating Liuli the same way she would her adorable daughter, but this time it had a hint of intimacy. Her emotions were complex, but on the surface, she gently pointed to where she had kissed and said seriously:

"I used a magic of courage on Liuli just now."

"Today, Liuli will definitely be braver than before, so put in your best effort!"

The green-eyed cat was completely won over by the excuse for tricking the little one, nodding eagerly.

"I will work hard!"

Chu Yuanqing stood up and said:

"Let’s eat breakfast first; everyone is waiting for you downstairs."

Tang Liuli then realized that no one was around, stood up from the sofa, and hugged her camera while picking up her small bag. Skillfully, she slid her feet into her sneakers with the help of the black stockings and walked behind Chu Yuanqing like a little follower, her heart starting to remember that kiss.

Although she had kissed Honey Qing many times before, she didn’t know why this kiss on the forehead made her heart race even more than before. Was it because… it was the first time Honey Qing had kissed her while fully awake?

Did this mean that Honey Qing liked her just a little bit?

No matter what, it was something that made her very happy.
