Chapter 407: The Final Step

With Bone Spike Chief captured, this battle was truly over.

The expeditionary army achieved brilliant results.

Not only did they defeat the Kylin Tribe’s forces and capture Kylin Tribe Chief along with six strong fighters, but they also captured over ten million Kylin Tribe warriors.

Moreover, they wiped out ten million vanguard troops from the Bone Spike Tribe, capturing the Bone Spike Tribe Chief and most of the strong fighters.

Although six hundred million tribespeople and over one hundred million soldiers remained in the Bone Spike Tribe, the capture of Bone Spike Chief and the strong fighters made surrender inevitable.

Most importantly, capturing these strong fighters, especially the level 120 Bone Spike Chief, would significantly enhance the expeditionary army’s top-tier combat power.

Once the Bone Spike Tribe and Kylin Tribe were brought under control, the number of troops in the expeditionary army would see explosive growth.

Of course, this would take time.

The captured strong fighters needed healing, and they had to sign contracts that allowed the army to control their lives and deaths, as well as develop teamwork and understanding with the top geniuses.

Integrating and training the tribespeople and warriors from the two tribes would require a substantial amount of time.

Fortunately, this place was not an exile planet, and the inhabitants were not humanity.

If it were an exile planet, integrating various tribes would be the most troublesome and time-consuming task.

As for the Black Tiger Tribe, things were much simpler.

According to the plan Yi Chen established early on, it was either compliance or death.

Obey the orders and accept integration, and everyone would benefit.

During the integration process, those who did not follow commands or tried to play tricks would be decisively suppressed until no one dared to act that way.

In space, Yi Chen’s divine consciousness locked onto the wandering Little Gold Ball and sent a message:

"You have great talent, and there is still huge room for improvement in your reaction and speed. Would you like to undergo some targeted training to enhance those skills?"

The Little Gold Ball, while searching for traces of fierce beasts, was momentarily startled by the sudden voice and quickly realized it was Yi Chen speaking to it.

It hesitated.

It thought it could become stronger just by lying down.

As long as it reached a certain level, it could just lie by Yi Chen’s side and draw some immortal power from his Qi Sea as the source of energy.

Its strength had already grown to the point where it could challenge higher levels, causing anyone to flee at the sight.

It was impressive to such a degree.

So why bother putting in the effort for training?

Hard work was something only the weak should do.

However, it felt a bit reluctant to refuse.

"Think about how it feels to be unable to avoid the enemy’s long-range attacks due to their speed, and how they always catch up to you."

Yi Chen, knowing what the Little Gold Ball was thinking, smiled and reminded it.

The Little Gold Ball’s small green eyes began to flash with an angry red light.

It remembered how Matthews had used his spear to make it feel furious and powerless.

"So, do you want to do some targeted training?"

Yi Chen asked.

Squeak!

The Little Gold Ball waved its tiny fists and nodded firmly.

"Alright!"

Yi Chen’s divine consciousness found Bai Ruo Xin again and instructed, “Arrange targeted training for the Little Gold Ball to help improve its reaction and speed.”

“For speed, the training you set up before was good; have the Little Gold Ball chase fierce beasts that are slightly faster than it. If there are no suitable beasts available, simply assign a strong fighter who is a bit faster to pursue it.”

“As for reaction, have strong fighters attack it directly. Create a detailed plan with specific goals; if it achieves them, it can play for a while, but if not, it must do extra practice.”

“Understood!”

Bai Ruo Xin eagerly agreed.

She had once trained the Little Gold Ball out of boredom.

At first, the little creature found it fun and enjoyed the training immensely.

But over time, it got bored and wanted different kinds of training.

Fortunately, this time was different; this time, it was Yi Chen personally instructing.

She knew very well that the Little Gold Ball had a hierarchy in how it listened to commands.

In the Little Gold Ball’s eyes, Yi Chen was at the very top.

He was like a great demon king.

Whatever he said, even if it was unwilling, the Little Gold Ball would obey without daring to rebel in the slightest.

Next in rank was her.

She was a friend and would give it some consideration, but she would refuse things she truly did not want to do.

Then came humanity.

The kin of the great demon king could provoke them but could not harm them.

Anything below that was irrelevant.

It depended on its mood.

The tasks Yi Chen assigned were something the Little Gold Ball wouldn’t dare oppose.

Having settled the training arrangements for the Little Gold Ball, Yi Chen focused on drawing upon fortune, comprehending the principles of heaven and earth, and observing the movements of the expeditionary army.

On the side of the expeditionary army, Guli commanded, and the troops began advancing toward the Bone Spike Tribe base.

Chief Nika approached Chief Kylin and the strong fighters of the Kylin Tribe who had previously been captured and were now being treated with various high-grade spirit materials, recovering somewhat from their injuries.

The outcome was without any surprises.

Signing the contract meant they could at least live on.

Moreover, the contract only had a hundred-year restriction.

After a hundred years, they could choose to stay or take with them the resources and treasures they had obtained through contributions over the past century.

Refusing to sign the life-and-death contract meant a dead end.

Chief Kylin and the six strong fighters all chose to sign the contract.

Afterward, Chief Nika dispatched five strong fighters, accompanied by a group of Black Tiger Tribe warriors, to head with Chief Kylin and the six strong fighters to the Kylin Tribe, to take over the entire tribe and its members, reorganizing the tribe and selecting suitable warriors to join the expeditionary army.

By the time the expeditionary army slowly arrived at the Bone Spike Tribe, Guli commanded that the army surround but not attack for the moment.

They brought out the heavily injured and unconscious Bone Spike Chief along with the other strong fighters.

The Bone Spike Tribe members did not dare to attack, falling into a state of panic.

This outcome was clearly something no one had anticipated.

Fortunately, based on the expeditionary army’s approach of not killing Bone Spike Chief and the other strong fighters, it was evident they merely wanted to subdue the entire expeditionary army.

Thus, although the Bone Spike Tribe members were panicking, they managed to retain a certain level of calmness.

After a day, as the injuries of Bone Spike Chief and the other strong fighters improved slightly, they all began to awaken from their coma.

Chief Nika approached them again.

The outcome was quite similar to that of the Kylin Tribe.

After two strong fighters stubbornly insisted on resisting for the sake of pride and were swiftly killed by Chief Nika, both Bone Spike Chief and the other strong fighters chose to sign the contract without hesitation.

Once the contract was successfully signed, Bone Spike Chief and the other strong fighters appeared, and the entire Bone Spike Tribe easily announced their surrender.

At this point, the expeditionary army’s first goal had only one final step remaining.

That was to send emissaries to all the tribes in the target area, announce the surrender of the Bone Spike Tribe and Kylin Tribe, and inform the leaders of various tribes of the deadline for their surrender.

After the deadline, the expeditionary army would simply dispatch troops to eliminate those unwilling to surrender.

With the strength of the expeditionary army, this would be easily achievable.

As news of the Bone Spike Tribe and Kylin Tribe’s surrender spread, the nearby small and medium-sized tribes had almost no choice.

Most tribe leaders hurried to the location of the expeditionary army within the deadline.
