Chapter 349: I Suffer!

Ji Yang parked his spiritual boat to the side.

At that moment, he heard some commotion near the Clear Pond.

Amidst the noise was Little Black’s voice.

Ji Yang’s face lit up with joy; this was just what he wanted.

He immediately stepped forward towards the pond!

When Ji Yang reached the Clear Pond, he spotted Little Black.

Not only Little Black, but Little White and the Golden Valiant Warrior were also nearby.

Oh, they’re all here!

Seeing that the Golden Valiant Warrior, with the remnant soul of the middle-aged man, had not dissipated after so long, Ji Yang expressed mild surprise; indeed, the older one got, the longer they lived.

Hearing footsteps behind him, the two beasts turned their gaze as well.

Little Black looked excited, while Little White remained calm, merely snorting when she saw Ji Yang.

“Little Black, did you see my Master?”

Ji Yang swaggered towards the pond and asked.

Hearing Ji Yang’s question, Little Black kept trying to signal him, but Ji Yang only frowned.

Before Ji Yang could think further, a cold voice greeted his ear:

“You’re back!”

“Uh!”

Following the direction of the voice, Ji Yang looked over and saw a blue figure holding a fishing rod behind the two beasts.

With his unchanged attire over the millennium and his stern aura, it could only be Ye Wuchen!

Ji Yang paused, then quickly walked over, bowed, and said with a sorrowful expression:

“Master, you finally returned!”

“I suffer!”

“You have no idea how many dangers I encountered this time! I almost didn’t come back!”

Facing Ji Yang’s sorrowful demeanor, Ye Wuchen chose not to dwell on previous matters and simply waved his hand.

“Just being back is enough.”

Seeing that Ye Wuchen was clearly not going to pursue the issue of him destroying houses, Ji Yang’s expression quickly changed.

He then pulled out the red staff he had obtained from his storage bag.

“Master, this item is a spiritual treasure that I painstakingly acquired this time, consider it a gift I brought back from my journey!”

Ye Wuchen turned around and glanced at the spiritual treasure in Ji Yang’s hand before responding with mild annoyance:

“Isn’t it because there are primordial spirit marks from others inside this spiritual treasure?”

Ji Yang awkwardly scratched his head but still defended himself:

“Of course not! Master, you must believe me, this is the most valuable thing I brought back!”

However, Ye Wuchen did not press further.

He lightly waved his fishing rod, and an invisible sword energy shot towards the spiritual treasure in Ji Yang’s hand.

As the sword energy passed through, Ji Yang’s spiritual treasure became completely new, and the primordial spirit marks that had previously existed vanished without a trace.

“Alright, I have already dealt with the primordial spirit marks inside. You can keep the spiritual treasure for yourself!”

“How can that be?”

Ji Yang awkwardly said while putting the staff back into his storage bag.

This made the two beasts and the Battle Soldier next to him turn their heads away.

“Tell me, what happened during this trip?”

Hearing Ye Wuchen’s inquiry, Ji Yang openly recounted his experiences from the recent training, though he only provided a brief description of some aspects related to cultivation realms.

After listening, Ye Wuchen glanced at Ji Yang but did not ask further.

At that moment, the fishing rod in his hand trembled, and a Red-tailed Spiritual Fish leaped out of the water.

Ye Wuchen took the fish off the line and casually tossed it, and Little Black, upon hearing the sound, swiftly flew towards it and swallowed the fish in one bite, shaking his tail vigorously to please Ye Wuchen.

This caught Ji Yang by surprise. He thought that the two beasts had not performed as well as before because they had a new master.

But since this person was Ye Wuchen, he could only watch from the sidelines.

However, once Ye Wuchen left the peak, he would make the two beasts understand who the true master of Jingtan Peak really was!

“Let’s go, up we go!”

“This time that you’re back, focus on your cultivation on the peak!”

Ye Wuchen stopped casting and spoke.

Ji Yang nodded.

Ye Wuchen transformed into a beam of Sword Light and flew towards the peak. The two beasts initially wanted to follow but unfortunately lagged a step behind, just as Ji Yang’s cold voice sounded behind them.

“Stop right there!”

The two beasts paused but remembering the spiritual grains they had consumed over the past few months and the powers they learned from Ye Wuchen, their expressions filled with pride!

A warrior is measured against three days’ absence.

It had been three months; they felt that their status at Jingtan Peak needed a change.

Ye Wuchen was naturally in the top position, but they deserved to be in the second and third positions!

As the two beasts exchanged glances, they understood each other’s thoughts and empowered their spirits.

Little Black, who had originally been only half a meter long, transformed in an instant into a towering beast multiple feet high.

Its four claws stepped onto flames, and several-inch-long sharp horns sprouted from its head, glowing with spiritual light, clearly indicating it had gained new powers.

Little White, not to be outdone, had also grown significantly since a few months ago, and her aura became even more majestic. In terms of cultivation, she had already reached the Spirit Transformation Stage.

Even compared to fellow True Spirits, this speed of enhancement was quite rare, making them true geniuses of the True Spirit clan.

As they briefly showcased their strength, dark clouds gathered overhead, hinting at an approaching storm.

Ji Yang watched with a hint of interest at the sudden changes in the two beasts.

Meanwhile, the Golden Valiant Warrior returned to the peak.

He had communicated with Ye Wuchen over the past few days and could stay at Jingtan Peak. Although he was just a remnant soul, he also carried the main soul’s memories, and regarding the main soul in the fixed-point object, he would just let it be.

Now he was a split soul, different from his other self.

After the two beasts finished transforming, they lunged towards Ji Yang to attack.

Their previous patience was all for this moment!

Now they had enough strength to give Ji Yang a show!

But in the next instant, the two beasts’ momentum quickly dissipated.

Seeing Ji Yang standing without any resistance against their attack, he simply moved both hands, and with two crisp sounds of fists, the two beasts that were just about to charge were sent flying at a faster speed!

In the blink of an eye, their attack was neutralized.

In light of this situation, Little Black recognized the reality and quickly shrank in size, then hurriedly wiggled his tail as he ran towards Ji Yang.

Little White, on the other hand, turned and dove into the Clear Pond, splashing waves everywhere.

Ji Yang didn’t bother to consider this too much; he had just returned, and he had other things to do. Dealing with the two beasts could wait for a while!

“Come here, Little Black, lend me a hand!”

Ji Yang called Little Black to the side of the spiritual boat.

At this moment, he remembered Ren Yuning. Originally, Ji Yang planned to bring her back to rescue the fellow disciples who had been captured.

Besides, she was also a senior sister from this training.

But now, how to deal with her after bringing her back became a problem.

Keeping her in a sect of the He Dao Sect perhaps felt a bit unfair.

After all, that senior sister had treated him quite well before!

Killing her?

That was even more out of the question; her status was notable, and the sect would certainly not make that choice.

For now, the only option seemed to be to keep her at Jingtan Peak until the captured disciples from the He Dao Sect were released. After that, he would probably have to let her go unless the He Dao Sect prepared for war with the Demon Sect, but that was not the best solution.

Ji Yang decided not to think further. He would report this matter to the sect, and they would naturally have a way to resolve it.
