Chapter 504: I Am the Divine Kingdom

No matter how tenacious the vitality, it is utterly meaningless in the face of time.

Lolth still cannot accelerate the time of the entire universe or even a single realm.

However, Lolth is entirely capable of accelerating the "time" of a specific living being.

The purest magic, forming a spell comparable to the simultaneous release of thousands of forbidden spells, descended upon the monster.

Then…

Time began to accelerate at a rate of hundreds, thousands of times!

"Something so massive and contrary to the rules, even a deity cannot sustain your existence indefinitely."

Lolth gazed at the ferocious monster and spoke coldly.

A normal person, upon seeing such a chaotic entity, might instinctively assume it to be immortal.

It seems as though, by continuously consuming other lives, it could persist.

But for Lolth, the world reveals its "essence."

The structure of its magic informed Lolth that this creature’s magic is as unstable as it appears.

The Evil God evidently did not regard it as a permanent fixture within the Divine Kingdom.

Behind the immense and vigorous Power of the Evil God of this colossal being lies a lifespan that is, for a "divine creation," excessively brief.

The acceleration of time continues.

Since only this life form is being accelerated, it appears even disconnected from the "world."

It did not become more agile in its movements due to the acceleration of time.

On the contrary, it seemed trapped in place, twitching and struggling helplessly.

Initially, it appeared as if it had just arrived in this half-plane, brimming with energy and vitality.

But gradually…

It began to "self-destruct."

The fragments of flesh and malformed organs, once conglomerated, started to peel away from its body and disintegrate within the rapidly advancing temporal field as they fell.

After decomposing into the purest Power of the Evil God, it remained ensnared within this spell.

If it could escape by using "magic"…

Then this spell would not be Lolth’s trump card.

The "time spell" is more than mere acceleration.

There are rules that cannot be escaped or resisted; even divine power cannot alter them.

This is the most potent spell Lolth could construct, envisioning a god as her adversary and depleting nearly all of her magical energy.

Even the most prized creation of the Evil God could only crumble bit by bit in the end…

Finally, it transformed into a swirl of the Power of the Evil God.

The Power of the Evil God, trapped in midair by the barriers of time and space, was swirling rapidly.

Lolth released the spell.

From the moment it was cast until now, only a little time had passed…

Just over ten seconds.

But now, Lolth’s magic reserve was nearly depleted.

From the perspective of a dimension, the magic power lost in these ten seconds could already be considered a leap into an age of fading magic.

The overwhelming Power of the Evil God cascaded down upon the earth.

In the end…

A profound silence ensued.

Lolth exhaled deeply, swiftly replenishing her magic using the magic circle.

In that fleeting moment, she had annihilated a "mythical creature"!

The Divine Kingdom, imbued with the power of divine rules, had manifested!

Of course… swift annihilation was the optimal choice.

After all, if the opponent’s abilities were fully unleashed, it would be significantly more challenging to contend with them.

True to Lolth’s nature, when confronting a formidable adversary, she would immediately deploy her most potent techniques.

"It’s dead!"

Behind her, Five Colors leaped slightly, the small girl’s excitement conveyed to Lolth through the swaying of her tail.

Lolth, however, was not as optimistic.

"But it’s not over."

She gazed at the sky and spoke.

Even though she had managed to tear a piece from the evil god this time, the sense of surveillance from the rift remained.

The evil god still harbored no intention of retreat; he continued to covet this half-plane.

Moreover…

The Hell Demon King by her side had yet to make a move.

Although Lolth strove to conceal the depletion of her magic, it was improbable that the other would be deceived.

So what exactly is a god?

The next entity to emerge would undoubtedly surpass the monster Lolth had just vanquished.

Even more formidable.

As Lolth rapidly restored her magic, she remained vigilant for any new movements from the two strange plane channels in the sky.

However, this time, the anomaly did not originate from the heavens.

"Sizzle…"

A faint sound resonated, and Lolth suddenly perceived a deceleration in her magic recovery.

Simultaneously, the magic rune structure that seemed to extend from her body appeared to be under erosion!

Looking towards the direction where the problem was sensed, Lolth discovered the source of the disturbance.

The Power of the Evil God, which had previously fallen to the ground and lay dormant, had suddenly sprung back to life!

This was the same Power of the Evil God that Lolth had already vanquished; its vitality had largely dissipated, and it should have been rendered powerless.

Yet…

The dark deity lurking behind the fissure had imparted a lesson to Lolth about the nature of "gods."

What defines a god?

What constitutes divine power?

Everything associated with Him is an extension of His being!

Even… the magical energy that had been utterly dispersed!

This place was, after all, too close to the Evil God!

So close that every shred of divine power was under His watchful gaze.

This nearly cheating ability was something Lolth could never have anticipated.

It was akin to an animal, having never encountered a human, engaging in combat and being utterly unprepared for the two-legged creature to draw a gun!

The Power of the Evil God swiftly took effect, severing the connections between the runes and Lolth.

Despite its chaotic and disordered nature, the Evil God could still discern that Lolth had harnessed strength rivaling that of the gods by utilizing external objects and these runes.

She herself was not a god, thus possessing weaknesses far more pronounced than those of a deity!

Lolth had come to realize this as well.

Moreover, the Evil God had not been idle.

As Lolth expended all her recently regained magic to cleanse the mud-like Power of the Evil God that tainted everything…

From within the fissure, the myriad hidden gazes suddenly seemed to converge, merging into a single, piercing stare!

Finally, the darkness of the fissure surged and coalesced into a blood-red, dripping eyeball.

The blood-red eyeball was veined with dark blue and black web-like patterns, and the fissure rapidly contracted, its edges sprouting sharp, jagged spikes.

It resembled both a mouth and an eye.

The spatial passage itself had morphed into a tangible monstrosity.

Such a grotesque spectacle was beyond even Lolth’s wildest imaginings.

"The space structure… has come to life?"

As a master of space magic, Lolth felt the chaotic amalgamation of life energy and spatial magic, leaving her feeling dizzy and disoriented.

This was utterly repugnant to Lolth.

The Power of the Evil God had fused the two together, akin to grafting muscle fibers onto a rusty water pipe, with blood coursing through the pipe and its walls contracting like muscles, while the muscle fibers themselves were corroded and marred by rust, creating a bizarre and unsettling dissonance.

Even a certain will was being borne by this grotesque structure.

Lolth recognized this as the will of the "Evil God."

In other words…

The Evil God from the alternate plane truly took action itself.

It crafted an abhorrently unique projection of itself, manifesting in this half-plane through a "space passage" as a blatant cheat!

This is deemed cheating because the space passage directly connects to Its Divine Kingdom.

The arrival of this projection was virtually backed by Its homeland, undoubtedly surpassing the strength of a typical projection!

Soon, this new space passage, a grotesque amalgamation of an eyeball and a gaping, bloody mouth, began to move.

It slightly opened and closed, as if tearing and devouring something!

And as a former "space structure," the parts it consumed…

Were naturally the space structure itself.

Along with the vast reserves of magic within this half-plane.

The "space" between Lolth and it was vanishing, taking everything in the half-plane with it.

This "projection" was inching closer to Lolth in an utterly unreasonable manner by consuming space.

Leaving Lolth with absolutely no room to retreat!

After all, where it had passed, space ceased to exist.

If one were to flee, where could one possibly go?

Five Colors also realized this and turned her gaze towards Lolth.

"Your Excellency, the magistrate… you must go!"

"Leave this place."

Five Colors pressed her lips together, her expression tinged with reluctance.

"I am deeply moved that you chose to stay to save me, regardless of whether you did so with a desperate resolve."

"But now, it is time for you to leave."

The girl with the Artificial Soul displayed genuine emotion.

"It was a pleasure to meet you."

She unwound her tail from around Lolth and took a gentle step back.

But…

Lolth pulled her back with her tail.

"Let’s not make this overly tragic."

Lolth gazed at her with fiery eyes.

She glanced up at the sky, and in a flash, the projection of the evil god had halved the distance to her.

The consumed parts undoubtedly fell into Its realm.

This was an unconventional method of seizing this half-plane.

A tactic that even another deity would find somewhat vexing and shameless.

At this moment, the evil god from the alternate plane, known as "Rebirth," regarded Lolth as a peer.

Even so, Lolth was not without options.

Though her magical power was nearly depleted.

Though nearly a third of her magical spell structure was damaged and in need of repair.

Yet…

"Space is my domain of expertise," she declared with a fierce determination.

A ruthless expression crossed Lolth’s face as she clasped her hands together, causing all the previously open magic runes to tighten and converge.

One by one, the magic runes merged into Lolth’s body.

At that moment, Lolth sacrificed her own power output and magical recovery.

She compressed all the magic runes and the entire magical structure into her own form.

The runes illuminated beneath her skin, completely overshadowing the faint pink lines that naturally adorned her succubus body.

Five Colors gazed at Lolth, utterly captivated.

It wasn’t just because Lolth was glowing intensely.

But because, in exchange for sacrificing "range," she had achieved…

A rank that was nearly divine.

High-intensity, primal magic power of Lolth’s origin gathered and condensed around her, culminating in a profound transformation.

The magic cube morphed into a liquid-like form and seeped into Lolth’s body.

Before her somewhat flat chest, a pattern resembling three serpents biting each other’s tails formed.

Within three inches of her body, any rule could be instantly rewritten by Lolth’s will.

At this moment, she embodied the Divine Kingdom.

Outside the half-plane ruins…

The mercenaries and Kanor’s group, who had just departed and were still in a state of confusion, suddenly felt an overwhelmingly terrifying aura emanating from the half-plane channel behind them!

It seemed as though beings of godlike stature were clashing.

Even the Dimensional Barrier could not contain the majesty and aura of the combatants from spilling out.

One of the auras was chaotic and evil, and even Ann and Yi felt a twinge of recognition…

"Day of Revival!"

The two sisters exclaimed simultaneously.

Their voices were laced with anger and a touch of concern.

And the aura that followed…

Was not the expected breath of hell.

It was familiar, yet alien.

It lacked the inherent and superior authority of a deity, yet it was undeniably potent.

Powerful enough to rival even the faint aura of the evil god.

Kanor paused for a moment, quickly comparing it with her memory.

Then, she let out a voice tinged with shock.

"Could it be… Master Lolth?"

She spoke with a hint of disbelief.

As soon as she uttered these words, Dorothy, Lalea, Ann, Yi, and Qiong all turned their gaze toward Kanor.

"You mean… that succubus?"

Everyone’s faces were painted with disbelief.

Especially those who had "adventured" alongside Lolth.

During the "trial" of the Ailuo race, they had all experienced the exposure of their identities and the stripping away of their disguises…

They had assumed the succubus was no different.

But now it appeared that even after having so many layers of disguise removed, the succubus still wasn’t unleashing her full strength!

Initially, I thought she stayed behind to cover our retreat…

I never imagined she genuinely intended to confront a being of divine caliber.

As the most powerful and knowledgeable among them, the Eastern Commander of the Holy Alliance and the Mistress of the Clean Spring Palace, Yi, after a moment of stunned silence, quietly began to muse.

"Is this truly the power of the Demon Army’s Chief Consultant…?"

She knew better than anyone else that, in a sense, Lolth had ceased "hiding her strength."

Like herself, Lolth was at the Holy Domain Level Initial Stage.

But…

In a way, she preferred to believe that this succubus was concealing her true capabilities!

Otherwise, could the Holy Domain Level Initial Stage truly achieve such feats?

To confront the might of the Holy Domain head-on?

This challenge far surpasses an ordinary person attempting to vanquish a legend!

The clueless passersby and mercenaries, who had narrowly escaped with their lives, were utterly terrified.

"What level of battle is this!"

"Thankfully, I managed to escape…"

"Damn it, what is going on with this accursed half-plane ruins!"

Although others had ventured into different half-plane ruins before, or had heard tales about them…

Half-planes equate to danger; that is a widely accepted notion.

But who could have foreseen such an extreme level of peril!

Initially, I thought the bronze Autonomous Guard emerging from the half-ruined plane was the pinnacle of danger, but it turned out to be merely the beginning…

Of course, for these mercenaries, whether it’s a legend level or a god, the outcome is the same when they actually encounter one—death.

But the sensation is entirely different.

It’s akin to walking into an open space and spotting a sign that warns, "Beware of falling objects," prompting you to cautiously don a helmet.

If you’re actually struck by a falling steel beam or something similar, you might still die instantly.

However…

When you see the "falling object" before you is a UFO, even though you know it’s no different from a steel beam or a large brick, you can’t help but exclaim,

"What the hell is that!"

This is the genuine sentiment of these mercenaries.

The only two somewhat optimistic mercenary groups might be Fish Eye and Victory.

After all, Luge and Julie overheard what Kanor and the others said.

On one side, Lolth’s words could somewhat be considered as their "allies."

Let’s consider it a positive development!

The confrontation between Lolth and the "Awakened" evil god emitted an aura that was not only felt by those nearby.

Although, from the perspective of the continent or the nation, it wasn’t a deliberately released power due to the half-plane Dimensional Barrier; only a fraction leaked through the passage, and the range wasn’t very extensive.

However, many powerful individuals on the continent possess sensing abilities sharper than a dog’s nose.

The first to react, naturally, were the forces of South Sotua.

The City Master of Silver Citadel sensed two formidable presences and spent some time in his room trying to discern them, finally erupting in a furious roar.

"Where the hell is my demon!"

"The demon I summoned with such great effort!"

"Without a demon, what kind of rebellion can I stage!!!"

The noble-born City Master slammed his fist onto the table before him, successfully splitting it in half!

Finally, he sat down, gnashing his teeth in frustration.

"Damn it, I’ll have to rely on myself."

"This operation has already been exposed; the king won’t spare me—I’ll have to mobilize the troops!"

Meanwhile, in the palace of South Sotua’s capital.

Chancellor Osmeda and the old king of South Sotua were deep in a secretive discussion when they suddenly stood up.

"Where did those two divine presences come from?!"

A flicker of panic crossed Osmeda’s aged face.

"Did that scoundrel from Silver Citadel cause this?"

He asked, puzzled.

The old king, after sensing for a moment, shook his head.

"No, it’s the presence of an evil god and… something akin to the abyss… but I’m not entirely certain about the abyss part."

"He lacks the capability to access these."

"Most likely, there’s been some mishap with the half-plane ruins themselves."

Upon hearing the old king’s words, Osmeda breathed a sigh of relief.

He then turned his gaze to the map spread out on the table.

"So… Your Majesty, shall we proceed as planned?"

After a moment of contemplation, Osmeda nodded.

"Proceed as planned! No… we might even need to act sooner!"

"This could actually be an opportunity—after all, others will know even less about what transpired in the half-plane! They’ll be even more wary!"

"I suspect the fool from Silver Citadel won’t be able to sit still either… so, let’s dispatch troops to Silver Citadel immediately, and once we’ve secured it…"

"We’ll continue our advance westward to reclaim all that is rightfully ours!"

The king of South Sotua slammed his hand on the table, and Osmeda nodded in agreement.

"Understood… I’ll issue the orders at once!"

This was no mere flutter of a butterfly’s wings, but rather the powerful beat of a giant bird’s wings, setting off a significant chain reaction.

The civil war in South Sotua, which might have been months away or perhaps never occurred, is now on the brink of eruption!

And this wind continues to sweep across the continent.

Inside a quaint bakery near the new western border of Seychelles, a white-haired girl lounged with her feet propped up on a chair, cradling a black one-handed sword. Suddenly, she narrowed her eyes.

"Oh dear…"

She murmured softly.

"What’s the matter?"

From within the bakery, a gentle woman with light blue hair emerged, carrying a tray of pies, her expression one of puzzlement.

"The abyss and the evil god ‘Revival’ seem to be at odds."

The girl propped her chin on her hand as she spoke.

The woman with light blue hair tilted her head, her expression growing even more perplexed.

"So… does this concern us?"

"Of course, it does! After all, I’m nominally tasked with protecting this country," the white-haired girl said, waving her hand dismissively before turning to the mature woman with blue hair. "Hmm… as for you, I’m not certain, but my intuition suggests there’s a slight connection to you."

"That’s quite odd; I don’t recall knowing any gods."

She muttered as she retreated back into the kitchen.

This minor incident didn’t stir up any immediate waves within Seychelles.

Yet, undoubtedly, some kind of seed had been quietly sown.

The most intense reaction came from the Demon Army.

In Hillenbrand Town, Kululu, who had been sipping honey water in the tavern, suddenly changed her expression.

"Lolth’s presence… and that monster is awakening…"

"It’s been thousands of years since I last visited, and the Ailuo race’s ruins are as porous as a sieve!"

"Wait… there’s also hell? Damn it, it’s that Murphy fellow!"

"Oh no, this is bad!"

She sprang to her feet, dropped her cup, and turned to the landlady.

"Excuse me, Sister Fuen… something major has happened!"

Kululu crossed her arms and vanished in an instant.

The landlady, seated behind the bar, watched Kululu’s disappearing figure with a resigned expression.

"Oh dear, what’s the rush…"

"The Demon King is already on the move."

"Besides, with Hell already open, how could your young lady not be involved?"

"She still hasn’t shaken off her impetuous nature."

The composed landlady Fuen picked up the cup Kululu had left behind, then smiled.

"But… she truly is stronger than I anticipated."

"Even the evil god ‘Revival’ can’t easily handle her."

The landlady sipped her drink lightly, feeling more convinced that her decision to let Kanor stay with Lolth was the right one.

Indeed, the deity at the end last time wasn’t her true strength.

As long as the gods don’t have a special plan, someone at the level of Holy Domain can truly challenge the gods.

Fuenlandlady even felt a twinge of excitement.

What a character… After becoming a god…

What kind of spectacle will it be?

At this moment, Lolth was oblivious to all of this.

Engaged in the half-plane, she was wholly absorbed in her battle against the evil god!
