Chapter 508: The Temptation of the Hell Demon

"Now is not the time for idle chatter, is it?"

With a playful tone, Lolth and Five Colors slowly turned towards the source of the voice.

In their view stood a woman of striking elegance.

Her long, gray-white hair, dark complexion, and crimson eyes were captivating.

She was clad in a simple yet elegant black gown that accentuated her figure like a formal dress.

The deep V-neckline revealed a glimpse of her ample bosom.

She was seated beside a set of table and chairs.

A dark red, hellish stone table and a comfortable high chair were set with a tea service.

She appeared not far behind Lolth and Five Colors, accompanied by a youthful-looking woman, as if she had always been there.

It was all very harmonious and natural.

But Lolth and Five Colors knew she did not belong here!

Her appearance made her origins easy to guess.

"A demon from… hell?"

Lolth asked warily.

She admitted that after defeating the evil god, she had become somewhat careless!

But…

This did not mean she would completely forget about Hell.

Just now, her reaction seemed influenced by something unseen, causing both her and Five Colors to instinctively overlook the existence of the Hell Plane.

This was very different from the methods cultists used to plant suggestions, or even the casual tactics of a succubus!

Compared to ordinary Star Spirit spells or mental spells, this felt more like…

Some kind of manipulation on a "rules" level.

Using a more sophisticated method, it made her perception unconsciously ignore both Hell and the woman before her.

In any case, she… or rather, it, might not hold a higher rank than that evil god, but it was certainly much smarter.

Looking at the enchanting Lolth, the woman chuckled softly and poured two cups of hot tea from the teapot on the table.

The rich brown tea, steaming and fragrant, filled the white crystal cups, one placed in front of herself and the other gently pushed towards Lolth.

As if timed perfectly with the moment the power of the Rod of Eden faded from Lolth, the sound of the cup lightly scraping against the table made her Holy Light power slowly dissipate.

When the Holy Light power completely vanished, Lolth found herself suddenly next to the table.

She even sat in a chair that had appeared out of nowhere!

The silver-haired woman slightly lifted her cup towards Lolth, indicating with a gesture, her lips brushing the rim as she took a gentle sip of tea.

"Hello, Miss Lolthlinda of the Abyssal Succubus tribe."

"Allow me to introduce myself, I am Murphy Yates from Hell, but you can call me Sister Murphy."

"Because Miss Lolthlinda was previously displeased that I only sent my subordinate, I have come personally to demonstrate my sincerity…"

"Of course, constrained by the rules, I cannot manifest here in my true form, but to express the utmost respect for Miss Lolthlinda, this is not merely a simple projection… but an ‘Origin Clone.’"

The woman who introduced herself as Murphy Yates spoke with a measured calmness.

Undoubtedly, if she is not lying… then she is the very entity the Demon Fanatics wish to appease through sacrifice.

The sovereign of Hell, the supreme Demon God, the Hell Demon King who wields judgment—Murphy Yates!

Indeed, this is not just her projection, but an Origin Clone!

Though Lolth was previously unaware of this distinction, hearing it now, she could grasp its significance.

This undoubtedly demands a far greater price than a mere projection and is a hundredfold more potent!

She gazed at Murphy Yates, who smiled warmly like a neighborly elder sister, then at the teacup in her hand, feeling only…

Profound terror.

Confronted with the vast and chaotic evil god, Lolth’s initial thought was how to shatter him.

After all, he is not within the Divine Kingdom, so she could certainly attempt to engage!

But facing Murphy Yates…

It wasn’t that she didn’t wish to resist; she simply didn’t know how to begin!

For Lolth could detect no trace of extraordinary power emanating from Murphy Yates!

What strength did this "Origin Clone" possess? What characteristics of magic or divine power did it hold, and how should she respond? What extraordinary force had she used to draw her here, and how had she appeared…?

Lolth was utterly clueless!

It was akin to the distinct fears humans feel when facing wild beasts versus ghosts.

In the former, it’s merely a lack of strength to combat, yet a "solution" exists.

But the latter is shrouded in unknown mystery.

To struggle against something and to be incapable of struggling are entirely different concepts.

Lolth began to understand the meaning behind her sister’s words.

Yet now, she could only suppress her fear and engage in conversation with her.

At least the other was willing to talk…

This was a positive sign.

Of course, considering the other was a demon from Hell, this might not be entirely good news.

But Lolth had no alternative.

"So, has Lord Murphy Yates come here merely to have tea and chat with me?"

Lolth glanced at her profile and casually inquired.

I must say, this Hell Demon God…

Is strikingly beautiful.

She exudes a charm and allure entirely distinct from the Succubus clan. Though she resembles a young girl on the cusp of adulthood, there’s an innate seductiveness about her.

This allure isn’t as overtly stunning as that of the Succubus clan, which can be boldly and aggressively tempting.

Her features—brows, eyes, lips, even her teeth—carry a hint of innocence.

Yet, every expression and smile seems to ensnare the heart.

Especially knowing her identity, it’s even more captivating.

Here stands a Hell Demon God, perilously powerful and of an outrageously high status… presenting herself in such a manner!

How could one not let their imagination run wild?

Even for Lolth, a succubus who has battled temptation since youth, a few more glances made her heart race slightly.

Upon hearing Lolth’s question, Murphy Yates gently tapped the table.

"Of course not, my dear Miss Lolthlinda."

She chuckled softly, resting her chin on one hand.

"While it’s true we are having tea and chatting, I did come here with a purpose."

"Could you… make a deal with me?"

She locked eyes with Lolth, her fingers tracing circles on the table.

"Please cede this half-plane to me."

"I will offer you ample compensation and reward."

Murphy Yates whispered, glancing at Five Colors before Lolth could respond.

"That little girl, I can also grant her a complete body and life, extracting her from here… she no longer needs to exist as the core of a half-plane and can freely pursue her desires."

"What do you think… about that?"
