Chapter 341: Saraph Will Never Serve as a Slave, Only as a Ruler

“You… coveted our treasures!”

“You… desecrated our Sacred Ground!”

“You… slandered our god!”

In the deep underground, a raspy whisper echoed through a dream.

“You… thought we were dead and silent!”

“Dead wrong!”

“The destiny we awaited had arrived!”

“Energy poured into us!”

All souls sleeping in the tomb felt vast, sunlike energy—warm and radiant—streaming from a higher realm into their spirits.

Souls once compressed thin to resist chaos corruption now swelled with power.

Like shrivelled sponges plunged into water, they rapidly soaked up newfound strength.

Though memories of flesh had faded, emotions surged back—renewed and vibrant.

Gloom and despair from ancient defeats were shoved aside, replaced by the triumphant spirit blazing within that energy!

After millennia of soul-dehydration and frozen slumber in their ruined world, the ancients finally sensed the outside realm.

They stirred in response to its shifting whispers.

When they tasted enemy energy, when they detected blasphemous words and deeds…

Souls overflowed with fury!

“Time to awaken!”

“For our god!”

“And for our savior!”

“Boom——!”

Soul-tremors ignited metallic heartbeats, reviving the “shaping nerves” and “flexible metal muscles” of towering constructs.

“Schwing——!”

Curved blades leapt shivering from sheaths, poised to strike the oblivious invaders and defilers!

Only then did the tomb-raiding pirates grasp something was amiss.

“What!?”

“What’s happening?”

Treasure-laden pirates prying gems from walls froze, darting frantic glances.

The creak of grinding metal already filled the air.

Then…

“Swish——!”

The eagle-headed statue suddenly swung its curved blade and beheaded the "Boss," who was prying at the gems in its waist!

"Thud…"

The large head rolled to the ground, eyes wide open.

The greed in its eyes hadn’t completely faded, and fear hadn’t yet risen; this Chaos follower was lucky. At death, it only felt surprise.

But the other pirates weren’t so lucky.

"Boom——!"

"Thud——!"

Eagle-headed and wolf-headed statues came to life one by one!

They weren’t just statues; they were "coffins" made of metal constructs, each holding a soul compressed to the extreme!

They were both coffins and bodies.

"Roar——!"

The metal statues let out a furious roar.

These were the unyielding ones who had slept, now proclaiming their return to the world!

"Thud… thud…"

"Pshhh——!"

As soon as they woke, they unleashed their rage on the tomb raiders, and soon, an unequal fight began.

“Damn it! The statues were alive!”

“The Boss was dead!”

“Quick! Shoot! Shoot!”

“Bang… bang…”

"Thud——!"

Amid the panicked shouts, bullets flew.

These were the special "evil god blessing bullets" of the Chaos followers, with chaotic corruptive power that could pierce the strongest armor.

But…

"Clink——!"

"Bang…"

The "evil god blessing bullets" struck the constructs but only made sharp sounds.

That was bullets bouncing off the constructs’ force fields!

Any light weapons the pirates and tomb raiders carried had no effect on these constructs.

Soon, the unequal fight became a horrible slaughter.

"Ah——!"

"No!"

“Help!”

Bodies were scattered everywhere.

Only the “Doctor,” who served as the brain of this small team, stumbled out.

“Damn it!”

“Zombies!”

“I’d never seen such a tough ‘mummy’ before!”

Even though the Doctor was badly mutated, with legs of different sizes, he stayed agile and ran fast.

He rolled and dodged, barely avoiding several slashes from curved blades before escaping to safety.

As he got away…

“Uh…”

“Ah! My leg is broken! I’m bleeding everywhere!”

“Evil god, save me!”

“Boom——!”

Amid the pirates’ screams, the whole tomb collapsed.

He crawled and stumbled out of that underground “hell.”

“Phew…”

“I must get back to the main army now and report everything to the Captains of the Demon Ark!”

“They are stationed underground!”

Chaos followers wouldn’t be foolish enough to sail far on one ship just to rob tombs.

In the Ether Sea, there were many chaotic enemies like the Star-Eater Plutonium Dragons; those neutral Outer Gods in the chaos also didn’t show any mercy to the Chaos followers.

Every time they left the edge of the Fantasy Tree of Subspace, several fleets had to join up and form a strong “black Ark” using the big battleship “Iron Chain.”

That way, when they moved forward, they kept etheric worms and etheric serpents away; when they pulled back, they sent out more scout ships to dodge threats like the Star-Eater Plutonium Dragons.

So, this time, plenty of Chaos followers came to the abandoned “Bubble World.”

Over half of them rushed underground, found that huge “cavity,” and set up a large, well-defended forward camp.

A top-notch “Chaos Guard” was based there.

The Doctor hoped to reach that place.

“Once I get to the forward camp, I’ll be safe…”

His words choked off.

Because…

“Boom——!”

The Chaos followers’ forward camp was already burning in towering flames.

All around, constructs with eagle heads and wolf heads were slaughtering brutally; beneath these towering three-meter constructs were simpler ones, like metallic skeletons.

They held strange ray guns, firing non-stop terrifying "green disintegration rays" that reduced their targets to basic particles.

But they weren’t the ones that truly threw the whole camp into chaos and collapse.

"Boom—Boom—Boom—!"

Huge vibrations echoed!

A terrifying giant figure strolled leisurely through the camp; it had six arms, with three left hands holding huge swords for fighting big targets, and one right hand gripping a massive energy cannon, also for large foes.

The last right hand held a giant "disintegration ray projector," spraying disintegration rays non-stop at nearby Chaos followers.

Very effective against infantry!

"Ah!"

"Monster!"

"Help!"

The Chaos followers quickly broke down under such sudden hits.

Even the elite Chaos Guard were wiped out by the disintegration rays.

The whole forward base had already lost a small part; the rest falling to these scary "Revivalists" was just a matter of time.

"It’s over…"

"Our camp is done."

"Only the black Ark can save us…"

Doctor choked up again, his words turning into screams.

"Ah…"

"Ah! Ah! Ah!"

Amid the screams, he fell to the ground as the earth shook violently…

The cause was up above!

"Boom—Boom—Boom—!"

A huge "square battleship," looking like several ships pieced together, dropped head-first from the sky, belching thick smoke.

It crashed suddenly onto an untouched part of the camp.

With it came a downpour of etheric liquid!

It seemed a powerful force had pushed the "black Ark" to the Bottom of the Ether Sea, breaking through the ground to smash down.

The culprit soon showed itself—a far more terrifying giant ship, much bigger than the black Ark!

Like the fearsome constructs rampaging in the camp, it was coated in gloomy black.

Loud war cries rang out "in the sky."

"Citizens of Saraph will never yield!"

"We are no man’s servants!"

"Only for the sovereign!"
