Chapter 150: The Invincible Skill

You You took a deep breath, stood up, and turned to the celestial maidens showing pained expressions. She shouted, "Everyone stay where you are! Don’t move a single step!"

The crowd jolted in surprise, all turning to look at her. Without time to explain, You You focused on the glowing skill in her mind – the Invincible Skill called World Suppression!

She flipped her sword downward, channeling all her power. Suppressing her embarrassment, she stabbed the sword into the ground and shouted the activation phrase:

"I declare this fishpond under my ownership!"

Silence fell across the arena.

A water droplet’s plink echoed faintly in everyone’s ears. The ground beneath their feet rippled outward like water, transforming into a shimmering surface. An ancient rumbling sound rose as translucent waves surged upward.

A massive phantom Kun erupted from below, swallowing the entire floating peak where You You stood in one gulp. The celestial maidens immediately felt the formation’s suppression vanish, their bodies lightening with relief.

"Feng Rong!" You You yelled – the skill only lasted eight seconds.

The crimson fire phoenix reacted instantly, flames engulfing the formations below. Both magical arrays shattered under the divine fire’s assault. Feng Rong shot towards Qiu Yao still hovering above.

Qiu Yao’s calm expression faltered briefly. "Consider yourselves lucky. This… suffices…" His form began dissolving before the flames reached him, vanishing completely.

"Was that an illusion?" celestial maidens murmured in confusion.

Feng Rong frowned, scanning with divine sense. The enemy’s presence had been real, not a clone or projection. Yet no trace remained of his escape method.

Disciples from various sects flew towards the floating peak on their swords, only to find themselves blocked. Even Feng Rong couldn’t penetrate the translucent Kun phantom swirling around the platform. Its massive tail swatted away all approaching figures.

"You You…" The rescued maidens approached gratefully, their usual aloofness replaced by warm smiles. "We’re safe now. You can release the skill."

The swordswoman grimaced, fingers clenched white around her hilt. "I can’t… let go!"

Shocked murmurs spread. "Is her spiritual energy blocked? Do you need assistance regulating your cultivation?"

You You shook her head desperately. "The skill’s duration extended accidentally. I need time to withdraw it."

"How long?"

"Eight days."

Stunned silence answered.

You You wanted to cry. She’d expected minor skill deviations – overpowered sword moves or healing spells with odd side effects. But stretching eight seconds into eight days? What insane game designer would create such unbalanced skills?!

The remaining countdown in her mind showed 7 days 23:40:36. The Kun barrier wouldn’t fade sooner, and her hand stayed glued to the sword.

The celestial maidens exchanged glances. The Tian Wu Sect representative who’d previously challenged You You stepped forward. "Such a miraculous skill naturally requires recovery time after blocking that evil formation."

"Indeed! Summoning a Kun phantom shows profound cultivation!"

"We thought her spiritual energy seemed Foundation Building level, but clearly misjudged!"

"Eight days is reasonable for such power."

"Notice how the spiritual energy here thickened? Perfect for healing!"

Soon the maidens sat meditating around You You, having constructed perfect excuses for her predicament.

You You:"……"

Truly, girls were the most wonderful creatures.
