Chapter 151: The Real Big Boss is Back!

"This is… serious!"

Albert Drake murmured.

She felt utterly lost.

After the Giant God burst through the "Net Path gap," she fervently followed it, hoping to join the battle.

But upon breaking through into the "Sea of Ether," Albert Drake realized…

"This situation… has spiraled far beyond my reach!"

When the terrifying "middle councilor-level demon god" fanned its magical wings, spreading chaos and destruction across the Sea of Ether, Albert Drake nearly writhed into madness from agony.

She felt her organs crushed by a horrifying, twisting force.

Her vessel seemed dragged directly into the abominable Subspace, decaying alongside unspeakable horrors.

But then…

"Boom——!"

The Giant God’s massive, orderly yet streamlined Divine Body seemed to leap from its position. Emerging from the Sea of Ether, its kilometer-scaled Colossal Divine Body clamped onto the sorcery-casting "Chaos Demon God"!

"Boom——!"

As the immense Divine Body crashed back into the Sea of Ether, violent tremors rippled through the entire region’s ether.

Shockwaves stirred the primal mud, clouding the Sea of Ether.

Sky-blotting "Primal Mud" veiled the void and the Fantasy Tree of Subspace’s projection.

Yet before the mud shards fully sealed the surface, Albert Drake—her divine power partially restored and pain eased—witnessed something staggering: another massive Divine Body.

It scaled the Fantasy Tree of Subspace’s trunk, bearing a massive skull and jagged teeth!

In sheer scale, it rivaled the "Giant God"!

Undoubtedly, Albert Drake beheld a supreme Chaos Demon God!

"This… this is a high-tier Chaos Demon God?"

"Giant God… Giant God…"

"Ugh—ah!"

Again, Albert Drake—possessing "demigod power"—choked under the Chaos Demon God’s oppressive aura. She couldn’t even control the body bestowed by the Giant God.

Her spiny fish-like form sank slowly toward the Primal Mud’s depths, surrendering to the drifting sediment.

Then…

"Boom——! Boom——! Boom——!"

The Giant God’s colossal form swam past her once more. Only at close range could she grasp its true majesty!

Its elongated, massive body glided endlessly through the murk.

No!

That wasn’t the Giant God’s form—it was the mauled chaos deity clamped between its jaws!

The Chaos Demon God’s body was huge, but compared to the Giant God, it looked like a child next to an adult; his once strong and long form was now twisted in a pitiful way.

The big, fierce head hung weakly, and the eyes that once shone with a scary light were shut tight.

“Hiss…”

Streams of “divine blood” drifted past Albert Drake, stirring the thirst for blood the Giant God had given her.

In the end, the thirst beat the pressure and fear from the Chaos Demon God.

The strong tail fin of the carnivorous spiny fish thrashed again, and she swam up and down around the streams of fresh blood, eagerly drinking it.

When she followed the blood to the “source,” she found huge, sharp teeth clamped hard on the Chaos Demon God’s body, and then a massive skull and eyes glowing with an “inorganic” light.

It was the Giant God!

The Giant God was holding the huge, proud Chaos Demon God in its mouth!

Seeing this, courage rose again deep in Albert Drake’s heart.

“Yes!”

“The powerful Chaos Demon God was actually killed in one blow by the Giant God!”

“What are the small foes compared to that?”

“Great is the Giant God!”

“But…”

A touch of unwillingness grew in the Ether Queen’s heart.

The Giant God giving her the “thirst for blood” also gave her the soul of a warrior.

So, Albert Drake couldn’t stand her own weakness like Sulya could.

Her wish was to be strong!

Strong enough to fight beside the Giant God!

But now, Albert Drake felt she wasn’t worthy at all.

Then, at that moment…

“Ah!?”

She thought she saw a strange light flicker in the Giant God’s “inorganic” “gem-like eyes!”

Next…

“Buzz——!”

A wave of vibration came!

Warmth wrapped around her again.

Then…

“Um… Ah…”

A very womanly whisper slipped from Albert Drake’s red lips!

The Giant God was once more putting energy into her!

"This… was a major crisis!"

Though Albert Drake might have been brimming with confidence in the Giant God, Trilobite himself, as the "Giant God," held no such certainty.

"I’m saved. That last one got lured away."

"If it had actually jumped into the water to fight me, with my current strength, it’d be hard to tell who was the prey and who was the hunter."

"Even though my chances were better in the water, it was still only seventy, maybe eighty percent at best."

"Still too risky."

"But on land? I probably wouldn’t even have a thirty percent shot!"

"Because that thing was some kind of Serpent Tooth Dragon!"

Serpent Tooth Dragons lived from the late Carboniferous to the early Permian period. Though their name had "dragon" in it, they weren’t actually dinosaurs, or even lizard-like creatures.

They were true archosaurs creatures—basically… the distant great-uncle of mammals?

But in terms of overall body structure, they really did resemble lizard-like animals.

Dragging their bellies with their limbs, they crawled slowly on the ground or tree trunks. Their massive tails helped them balance or store fat.

They had long, tall heads full of sharp teeth, making them fierce, aggressive predators.

But that wasn’t why Trilobite was wary.

What truly made him nervous was…

"Serpent Tooth Dragons are huge!"

"The smallest are at least one point eight meters long, and the big ones can reach three point six meters!"

"Even though the one that appeared was probably just a basic type, it was still one point seven meters long!"

"Almost as big as me!"

"And… there seems to be a problem with the era too…"

Trilobite pondered.

If this was the late Carboniferous to early Permian, the species might fit.

Still, he couldn’t shake a feeling of wrongness.

But in the end, that unease was swallowed by the immediate sense of danger.

"Hmm…"

"So, the only thing I can do is get stronger!"

"And help my spawn get stronger too!"

"Luckily…"

Trilobite looked at the 120,000 Chaos Energy he’d earned from the recent Mass Slaughter, nodding in satisfaction.

[Beep——!]

He clicked open the "Evolution STEAM Store"!
