Chapter 175: The Theater World Boils Over

"That wicked woman! So deceitful!"

In the Cangwu Realm, a colossal beast suddenly opened its eyes, its mountain-like gaze flickering with rage.

He was one of the Emperor Level beings closely associated with the old woman from the Magic Clan.

Within the Cangwu Realm, his clan referred to him as the Cangwu Ancestor.

"Cangwu, are you going?"

A Powerful Consciousness crossed worlds, directly entering the Cangwu Ancestor’s mind.

"You go if you want! I’m not going!"

The Cangwu Ancestor replied in an Angry Voice, "That wicked woman clearly wants to trick us into going there, then team up with the God of Theater to wipe us all out at once!"

"Look, as soon as they arrived, the God of Theater used his divine powers to obscure himself."

"Who can’t see through such a dumb trick?"

"For all we know, the God of Theater might have already left the battlefield and is hiding somewhere, setting everything up while waiting for us to walk right into his trap!"

The Magic Clan was so blatant in sending gifts, and now they still dare to summon us—do they really think we’re fools?

After snagging the position of the God of Wealth, they could’ve just quietly celebrated.

Even if they struck a deal with Huaxia, as long as they didn’t act too outrageously, everyone would mind their own business, and no one would make a fuss.

After all, everyone’s looking out for their own clan, and a little mutual understanding goes a long way.

But to send gifts so openly? That’s just too much!

They can’t even be bothered to hide it anymore, huh?

They know the God of Wealth’s position has shifted to their clan, but do they have to be this shameless?

After so many years of friendship, they don’t even include us; instead, they’re openly cozying up to Huaxia right under our noses, like they’re dancing on our doorstep!

If it were just that, we could let it slide!

But now?

They actually want to team up with that old schemer, the God of Theater, to lure us over and take us all out in one go!

After so many years of friendship, has it all gone to the dogs?

Damn it!

Who doesn’t know the true nature of that old fox, the God of Theater?

A real snake!

Whenever he makes a move, there’s always a trap waiting for us.

And this situation? It’s obviously a trap, plain and simple!

After being tricked so many times, falling for another one now would be a slap in the face to our intelligence.

"I feel the same way!"

A furious voice echoed from the Powerful Consciousness, "With the God of Theater at full strength and the Magic Clan ready to stab us in the back…"

“If we go, it probably won’t even make a ripple.”

“Back in the day… forget it!”

“I’m done watching. Seriously, if the Magic Clan hasn’t sided with Huaxia, why wait until now, when most of the treasures have already been handed over, to send someone to help?”

“What about before? When the battle started and the God of Theater had everything under control, why didn’t they show up right away?”

“And sending the Celestial Prison to fight the God of Theater alone…”

“This is just insulting our intelligence, and honestly, it feels like they’re looking down on us.”

“Whatever, I’m going to sleep.”

“What about you?”

Hearing this, the Cangwu Ancestor took a deep breath and suddenly flopped down in his resting area.

“I’m going to sleep too!”

“That vile woman—just looking at her makes me sick!”

“I’m done watching!”

“This is all just a show, plain and simple!”

“Pull back my consciousness, I’m going to sleep!”

As soon as he finished speaking, the Cangwu Ancestor withdrew his consciousness from near the Snow Soul Realm.

There was no point in keeping tabs on this farce of a war anymore.

Seeing the ugly faces of the Magic Clan just made him angrier.

“Don’t get mad, getting upset only makes the enemy happy!”

After calming himself down, the Cangwu Ancestor focused and set up a barrier around his area.

Next, he planned to get some proper rest.

There were still a few years before the big shift would come.

In the meantime, there’d be plenty of headaches, with all sorts of schemers lurking around. It was better for him to stay out of it.

So, he decided to sleep straight through until after the great change arrived!

At the same time, the old woman noticed the consciousness of her old friends, who had been watching the battlefield, suddenly vanish. She stood there, utterly confused, her hair tousled by the wind.

What… is going on?

Normally, her old friends should’ve shown up by now.

But not only had they not arrived, they’d even pulled back their consciousness, as if they were trying to avoid any connection with her!

Her friends wouldn’t do something like this without a reason. Something must’ve happened that she hadn’t noticed.

Could it be the Celestial Prison?

At that thought, the old woman’s eyes narrowed.

Did the Celestial Prison’s actions make her friends think it was too foolish?

Or had her friends discovered something strange going on within the Magic Clan?

As one of the few Emperor Level powerful beings in the Magic Clan, the Celestial Prison Lord’s grand actions naturally drew attention from within the clan.

But oddly enough, everyone found it completely reasonable when he used a treasure to attack the God of Theater, only to have it snatched away by the same deity.

In fact, they even imagined themselves in his shoes—they might have done the same, using a treasured item to strike the God of Theater on the battlefield.

And after losing the treasure, they’d probably summon another one…

What was even stranger, though, was that after witnessing the Celestial Prison Lord’s powerful attack, which clearly demanded their attention, they didn’t rush to his aid immediately!

Yes!

They didn’t even realize it!

It was as if some mysterious force had blocked their thoughts, preventing them from recognizing the urgency of the situation.

Even the Celestial Prison Lord himself hadn’t thought to call for help from the clan until now!

By this point, anyone with a shred of common sense would have noticed that something was seriously off.

So, did the old friends stay away because they sensed this strange force?

Where did this mysterious power come from?

Why had it suddenly descended upon the Magic Clan?

These were questions they’d need to explore in the future.

But for now, the priority was rescuing the Celestial Prison Lord!

With her old friends absent, she had no choice but to rely on her own methods.

“Celestial Prison!”

“There’s a problem now—don’t overthink it!”

“Listen to me!”

“Take out the core of the great destruction formation, work with me, unleash all your power, and gather the formation to destroy the obstacles in front of you!”

The old woman’s powerful mental energy surged through the skies, breaking through the barriers of the Theater World to deliver her message to the Celestial Prison Lord.

But what she didn’t know was that, due to some special interference, the message he received was incomplete.

The warning about the problem had been scattered by an invisible force, vanishing without a trace, as if it had never existed.

“The four major cores of the great destruction formation?”

The God of Theater smirked, thinking to himself, “This treasure is recorded in the Holy Spirit clan’s catalog of rare items.”

“What a find!”

“So this end-of-the-world-level formation, made from four legendary treasures, is in the hands of the Magic Clan!”

As he pondered this, the entire Theater World trembled slightly, and a cacophony of dramatic sounds began to merge.

The distinct singing styles of sheng, dan, jing, mo, and chou, along with emotionally charged lines from tragic plays, filled the air.

At that moment, the Theater World transformed into the grandest stage imaginable, with countless famous actors from across time and space performing and singing upon it.

The world itself seemed to come alive!

After a few moments, the God of Theater suddenly waved his right hand, and the Theater World erupted into chaos, as if obeying his final command.

“I see it now—this treasure is mine.”
