Chapter 178: All-Manifestation Realm?

At this moment, Li Hui sat outside the secret chamber, having taken a nap. He repeatedly confirmed that there was no commotion inside the Purple Fortress, so he prepared to enjoy the food carefully prepared by Chef Zhao.

“Young Master, has the poison dragon eel not transformed in the secret chamber?” Huo Qiniang helped the young master wash up; she and the chubby man willingly acted as servants.

“Not yet! The success rate is quite low. I left Guang Jin inside to take care of the poison dragon eel. If anything goes wrong, he’ll help immediately, but he also needs the opportunity to do so,” Li Hui said as he began to eat. There were plenty of ingredients and even spiritual materials on the island. During a previous journey, he had swept up all the edible items like a wind sweeping away clouds.

Practitioners abstain from eating only out of necessity; if they can eat, then they must eat well, eat more, and eat deliciously. As a seasoned foodie from the Jade Symbol Sect, Li Yingjun was determined to satisfy his cravings despite the perilous environment.

Unexpectedly, just halfway through his meal, Guang Jin shouted from the secret chamber, “Young Master, the eel has drawn the poison out of the bones. Don’t come in; there are a lot of tiny flying insects!”

Li Hui hurriedly pushed the food aside. Chef Zhao and Huo Qiniang couldn’t eat at all and waited nervously by the stone door.

After about a teacup’s worth of time, Guang Jin called out again, “It’s okay now. The eel finally did something useful and swallowed the small insects. But its belly is getting bigger; I’m going to activate the monster-conjuring talisman to help it cleanse its body.”

Soon, the secret chamber fell silent. They waited for a whole hour. The poison dragon eel seemed fine, but Guang Jin suddenly shouted like a distressed pig, “Damn it! You used the mat to nurture the soul, but all I have is beads, and there’s nothing good to eat!”

“Boom, boom, boom…” The secret chamber was thrown into chaos as Guang Jin’s curses echoed nonstop.

Li Hui’s expression changed as he quickly grabbed Chef Zhao and Huo Qiniang, pulling them back. He watched as a blurry figure shot out of the secret chamber, transforming into a three-zhang-tall blue giant snake that twisted its body and lunged forward.

“Be careful! It’s the Remnant Soul of the All-Manifestation Realm and has lost its sanity!” Guang Jin yelled from inside the secret chamber.

The All-Manifestation Realm was even higher than the Bosa Realm, enough to be considered an ancestor in many small sects. It was said the leader of the Jade Symbol Sect and the Grand Elder were at this level.

“What a disaster!” Li Hui thought to himself, “I was just standing outside to eat, and it has to be this violent? Does heaven not like me, just waiting to strike as soon as I get comfortable?”

The blue giant snake was already upon them, its Yin-Yang Nine Heads rattling to the ground as it opened its massive mouth to spray forth blood-colored light beams.

“Boom, boom, boom…” He wasn’t sure how many Blood Mouth Spitting Talismans were consumed; hundreds had at least slightly blocked the giant snake. Li Hui reacted immediately, pushing Chef Zhao and Huo Qiniang aside, using the Cloud-Brush Dragon Claw Technique to attack the giant snake, inciting its anger and drawing its pursuit.

“Be careful! I’ll be back!” Li Hui instructed as he drew the giant snake away, not even having time to retract the Yin-Yang Nine Heads.

Fortunately, there were formations nearby to utilize, but this blue giant snake was too domineering. Regardless of the formations or restrictions, it simply needed to crouch and charge, and the next moment everything fell apart; the formations and restrictions were incredibly weak before it.

Just one word: Run!

“Bang, bang, bang…” The sounds behind him were terrifying.

Li Hui felt wronged! He was just a small practitioner in the Spirit Motion Stage, yet he continually encountered high-level beings from Linggui City, forced to survive in the cracks. When would he ever have an easy day? He wished for a Spirit Motion Stage cultivator looking for trouble so he could handle them; even a Concentrating Spirit Stage would be welcome, but nothing from the All-Manifestation Realm, he was scared!

If he ran deeper into the Purple Fortress, he was not familiar with the terrain! So he could only retreat from the fifth level to the fourth level, then from the fourth level to the third…

Suddenly, the flickering shadows behind him trembled slightly, and Li Hui seized the chance like catching a lifeline, bolting back like a meteor toward the second level and rushing straight for the entrance.

“Help! Senior, save me!”

The four Li Family cultivators had been studying the array maps on the stone bridge, their heads throbbing. As they reached the entrance, they suddenly experiencing the devilish sound invading their brains, causing illusions to stack up.

The longer they lingered on the stone bridge, the more powerful the devilish sounds they encountered at the entrance. And what could a Condensed Essence Stage practitioner do? They would still be subjected to punishment by the center devil and fall for illusions like fools.

Fortunately, the four were extraordinary and managed to combine forces to resist the effects, finally making it through the door. Just after clearing the inner obstacles, they heard a voice filled with joy, akin to seeing family pierce through the air.

Li Hui rushed toward the four of them.

As Condensed Essence Stage practitioners, how fast could their reactions be? They would never let a little kid get close! With dusters, long swords, round mirrors, and copper towers, they released brilliant lights that quickly ensnared Li Hui.

The master had ordered them to capture him, not to kill, so they were measured in their actions. But unexpectedly, the giant blue snake suddenly lunged forward, causing the head cultivator to frown and whip the duster toward it. This stirred up trouble; the blue giant snake coiled back, projecting an overwhelming pressure.

The four Condensed Essence Stage cultivators shouted as they joined forces to attack.

But when they swept their spiritual sense over the giant snake, their eyes widened in shock, their hearts lifted into their throats; even their attacks became scattered, and the brilliance of their magic tools diminished significantly as they cried out in terror, “All-Manifestation Realm.”

Li Hui stood there honestly, watching how they would respond.

“This kid causes great harm, luckily it’s just the Remnant Soul of the All-Manifestation Realm; attack!” The four fought fiercely against the giant snake, creating quite a commotion.

The battle surpassed comprehension; there were moments when flying stars filled the sky, while Light Spirit flared out, and immeasurable light and shadow gushed forth, compounding into billions of rays of brilliance.

For the first time, Li Hui gained a deeper understanding of the power of magic tools, while also feeling a sense of awe toward the Condensed Essence Stage practitioners. Qian Qiu Yue and Hongmo Zhengfang, even when at odds, wouldn’t unleash their full power; they would only go to a certain degree. Yet these four Li Family cultivators fought for their lives under the pressure of the blue giant snake, their circumstances were evidently different.

The All-Manifestation Realm represented another level; even as a Remnant Soul, it remained incredibly powerful. With each time the snake coiled and rebounded, the air, or rather the surrounding space, trembled along with it. The four Condensed Essence Stage cultivators had to hold their magical tools tightly; otherwise, they might get swept away.

“Damn it, this All-Manifestation Realm practitioner must have been extremely powerful in life.”

“Use the Ice Soul Cold Energy! If that doesn’t work, notify the master. Goodness, I really want to strangle this kid!” a Li Family cultivator yelled, swinging his hand to unleash two orbs of icy light as the temperature plunged, making everything feel cold.

The other three Condensed Essence Stage cultivators also cast icy lights, and the eight orbs merged, causing the blue giant snake’s speed to drop significantly.

“Does the Ice Soul Cold Energy work?” Joy appeared on the faces of the four Li Family cultivators, but unexpectedly, the blue giant snake opened its mouth and forcefully inhaled all the cold energies, its eyes shining with a spark of life.

“Damn it, that person’s cultivation method must be ice attribute.” Before the four Li Family cultivators could react, the blue giant snake expelled a cluster of light blue waves, swirling gently in the air before forming a chilling domination that froze everything around it.

The four Li Family cultivators each bore the Slave Seal, but the light blue wave came too quickly; they had no time to react before they turned into four ice sculptures.

Li Hui also became an ice sculpture, but his exterior transformed into gold, resembling clumps of mud pieced together.
