After the sports meet—Senior 2 tensed for June’s General examination (as important as college entrance). Pass or no graduation.
Lin Sitian, science student—needs history, geography, politics, IT to pass. Chose science for higher admission rates, lower scores.
May passed—Zhou Sheng kept his promise: her grades rose. Teacher turned a blind eye—only warned no public displays, and Zhou Sheng: “No Break the precept.”
Since then—he followed rules. Small gestures earned: “After finals—can do.”
…No memory of this agreement.
Side story: Fang Changmin confronted them.
Self – study—Fang Changmin said Zhou Sheng’s math answer was wrong. Analyzed, Zhou Sheng pointed: “Function value wrong—careless.”
Fang Changmin broke down—cried, accused Zhou Sheng of arrogance, teacher bias, and dating Lin Sitian.
Panicked—she feared exposure.
Zhou Sheng: “Talk outside.”
Fang Changmin: “Admit—dating her!”
Class empty (teacher absent). Zhou Sheng, responsible for discipline, felt conflicted.
Before speaking—Wang Yue: “So what—dating?”
Yuan Xiao: “Top student, helps her—good example.”
Classmates supported: “Known for ages—no need to admit.”

Shocked—she realized: class accepted them as a couple, kept it secret.
Grateful—she saw pure, lovely classmates.
Zhou Sheng relaxed, smiled slightly.
Fang Changmin fled—Zhou Sheng chased, followed by two.
Classroom chaotic—monitors managed.
She waited—for the drama to end.
“Stressed?”
Wednesday—Zhou Sheng walked her home, talked about Fang Changmin.
After—Zhou Sheng and classmates brought him back. His father, a math teacher, pressured him—strict “Wolf spirit education.”
Fang Changmin: jealous of Zhou Sheng’s success (grades, love). Reported them.
Math test—Fang Changmin scored full, but Zhou Sheng’s extra credit made him top.
This sparked the drama.
Zhou Sheng saved him from jumping—school advised rest.
“Pity him—once hated, now feel sorry.”

On the way—she sighed. “If me—lost. Zhou Sheng’s a boss monster—no win.”
He: “Possible—he scored full. Just missed extra credit.”
She: “Heartless—boss monster.”
He: “Fact—he’s not bad, just careless.”
Evening light—leaves rustled.
“Tutor him?”
He: “If he asks—yes.”
“Like you tutored me?”
He: “No need.”
“Why?”
At her building—she held his hand.
” If he catches up—no need. If not—useless. And…tutoring you—selfish.”
She was moved.
“Thanks for your selfishness.”
Nervous—she went upstairs, waved: “Go.”
He smiled. “See you tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow!”
He watched her disappear—knew her floor, door.
“Home safe.”
Turning to leave—her cry: “Zhou Sheng—grandma…”
