Chapter 392: Misguided Inference

On the blood-colored planet, the expeditionary army continuously adjusted their marching speed.

As they approached two hundred kilometers from the Bone Spike Tribe’s base, the Kylin Tribe’s army of fifteen million finally caught up.

They positioned themselves to encircle the Bone Spike Tribe’s forces, attacking from both the front and back.

In the large conference room of the Bone Spike Tribe’s base, Bone Spike Chief gathered the High-ranking Leaders to discuss strategies.

"I don’t understand what they were thinking. The Nika Tribe’s army clearly intends to shake off the Kylin Tribe and directly attack us, the Bone Spike Tribe."

A level 110 strong being snorted and said, "But the result is clear; they overestimated their army’s marching speed. By the time they reach our Bone Spike Tribe, the Kylin Tribe has also caught up, leading to this encirclement."

"If that is the case, give me ten million troops. As long as we attack from both the front and back against the Kylin Tribe, we will surely annihilate this Nika Tribe!"

"I don’t think it’s that simple."

Another strong being of the same level shook his head, his expression serious. "According to the latest intelligence we’ve gathered, the Nika Tribe was originally just a medium-sized tribe with a population of around sixty million. The chief and their strong beings were even captured by the royal pirate crew of the Swift Tribe."

"The entire Nika Tribe was subsequently swallowed up by another medium-sized tribe. Yet two years later, this chief who was captured by the Swift Tribe has mysteriously returned and easily reclaimed the Nika Tribe after it was merged with the other tribe."

"It is said that Chief Nika aligned himself with some powerful entity from a mysterious race. I suspect it could be the Noble of the Swift Tribe."

"Otherwise, it’s hard to explain how he managed to escape after being captured. A strong being of his level would have to sign a life-and-death contract upon being captured by the Swift Tribe, leaving almost no hope for escape."

"Now, the Nika Tribe unexpectedly attacks us with their apparent weakness. A mere medium-sized tribe is aiming to take down the Bone Spike Tribe. What does this imply?"

As those words echoed in the conference room, all the High-ranking Leaders of the Bone Spike Tribe showed deep contemplation.

They understood the meaning behind this strong being’s words.

It was possible that the Nika Tribe was backed by the Noble of the Swift Tribe, suggesting that the Noble had instigated the Nika Tribe to attack the Bone Spike Tribe.

Furthermore, it was highly likely that a royal pirate crew from the Swift Tribe had infiltrated the Nika Tribe’s army.

The Black Tiger Tribe, in terms of overall strength and influence, was indeed stronger than the Swift Tribe.

In terms of talent, the Black Tiger Tribe excelled far beyond the Swift Tribe.

During their prime, the Black Tiger Tribe even produced a powerful being at level 140, which made even the Undying Race wary.

Although the Black Tiger Tribe had suffered from fragmentation and decline and had become a scattered group of tribes, their number of strong beings still outnumbered the Swift Tribe significantly.

However, what made the Swift Tribe truly terrifying was their astonishing speed.

At the same level, the Black Tiger Tribe couldn’t even touch the Swift Tribe, constantly worn down instead.

Even in battles with three or four to one odds, it made little difference.

As a result, the Black Tiger Tribe became almost like a resource repository for the Swift Tribe.

Pirate crews of any level from the Swift Tribe dared to raid planets controlled by the Black Tiger Tribe without fear.

However, those ordinary Swift Tribe’s Space Pirates only dared to raid some isolated members of the Black Tiger Tribe.

The Swift Tribe’s Space Pirates with strong beings stationed could attack Small and Medium Tribes.

The royal pirate crew even dared to raid large tribes.

They would strike quickly and flee; no matter how many strong beings a large tribe had, they could only follow behind and eat the dust.

If they really sent out ten million troops to try and encircle the Kylin Tribe, the likely outcome would be that the leaders of both armies could be unexpectedly killed by the Noble of the Swift Tribe.

Once the leaders were killed and the royal pirate crew from the Swift Tribe appeared, both the Bone Spike Tribe’s army and the Kylin Tribe’s army would surely fall into panic and defeat.

“Damn it, this Nika Tribe’s chief actually allied with the Swift Tribe we hate to the core to save his own life!” a strong being could not help but curse.

“If there is really a royal pirate crew among the Nika Tribe’s army, just sending out ten million troops will not work. That would only result in the pointless loss of those troops, weakening our strength.”

One strong being pondered, “But what if we were prepared in advance, with all our strong beings hiding among the army, and then ambushed the royal pirate crew of the Swift Tribe?”

The strong beings’ hearts stirred at these words.

A royal pirate crew would have at most two or three strong beings from the Swift Tribe.

With Bone Spike Chief’s terrifying strength, he might not be able to kill the Noble of the Swift Tribe, but he could certainly defeat the two strong beings who were two major realms lower.

Adding in five fighters at level 110 and over a hundred fighters above level 100, they could completely annihilate the entire royal pirate crew by catching them off guard, allowing only the Noble to escape.

“Offending a Noble of the Swift Tribe might bring us trouble in the future…” a strong being hesitated.

“Trouble? They have already taken the initiative to attack; do you think that if you don’t offend them, this royal pirate crew will let you off?” another strong being sneered. “Let’s not forget, the Swift Tribe is not having a good time right now. They have suffered heavy losses because of that mysterious pirate crew attack we supposedly led from the Black Tiger Tribe."

“This Noble of the Swift Tribe may not even have the heart or power to retaliate against us.

On the contrary, if we successfully eliminate a royal pirate crew, our reputation will soar, and the nearby Small and Medium Tribes will definitely come to ally with us. Furthermore, with the prestige from annihilating a royal pirate crew, the Bone Spike Tribe might even unify the entire blood-colored planet.”

“If we really unify the blood-colored planet, what is there to fear from just one Noble of the Swift Tribe?”

Once those words were spoken, Bone Spike Chief felt a thrill of excitement.

To unify the blood-colored planet!

The temptation was nothing short of extraordinary.

It could be seen as the ultimate dream of any large tribe chief.

If he could indeed create the glorious achievement of annihilating a royal pirate crew, with that prestige, it might actually be possible.

The Black Tiger Tribe controlled over thirty life planets, but they were all disorganized.

Being able to unify the blood-colored planet, gathering all the strong beings and resources of the entire planet, would mean he would also have a chance to unify the entire Black Tiger Tribe.

Just thinking about it made him feel invigorated and exceptionally excited.

“Report!” A scout’s voice sounded from outside.

“Come in!” Bone Spike Chief ordered in a deep voice.

The scout rushed in, urgency written across his face. “The Nika Tribe’s army suddenly began to reorganize and turn around. They likely fear being encircled and are preparing to crush the Kylin Tribe’s army first.”

“Chief, we can’t hesitate any longer.” The strong being who suggested ambushing the royal pirate crew of the Swift Tribe spoke quickly. “If the Kylin Tribe’s army is destroyed, we will surely miss our chance.”

“Remember, they very likely have a royal pirate crew hiding among them. They can continuously harass our base with their speed, supported by another army, and our strength will only be gradually weakened.”
