Chapter 443: The White Jade Giant Elephant

“Hurry up and come back quickly,” the iron-eating beast said, waving its claw. A hint of anger flashed across its black-and-white face, as if it felt insulted.

“You need to move fast; other beast races have already placed orders with Big Brother Nèndié,” the young fox said, pouting.

“Got it, Little Fox.”

The Red-tailed Beauty shot a flirtatious glance at the young fox, making him shiver and quickly hide behind Xu Fan.

“Is the iron-eating beast waiting for me?”

With that, the Red-tailed Beauty transformed into a beam of light and flew off.

“Big Brother Nèndié, here are the orders I received yesterday,” the young fox said, handing Xu Fan a jade slip.

“Take them all. We only accept artifact-level spirit ore and spirit herbs that are over a thousand years old,” Xu Fan said, waving his paw.

“Also, let them know that my specialty is refining Body-Refining Pills and Spirit Feeding Pills.”

“Understood, Big Brother Nèndié,” the young fox replied earnestly.

“Go on, do a good job, and I’ll make sure you get a share later.”

Xu Fan painted a bright future for him.

“I’ll definitely work hard, Big Brother Nèndié,” the young fox promised.

Soon, word spread throughout the Holy City of the Fox Clan that the new alchemist from the Iron-eating Beast Clan was exceptionally skilled at refining Body-Refining Pills and Spirit Feeding Pills, and his prices were fair and reasonable.

In no time, all the Great Beasts in the Holy City of the Fox Clan were buzzing with excitement, rushing to place orders as if there were a sale on premium goods.

“Big Brother Nèndié, as of today, we’ve received orders for six thousand bottles of Body-Refining Pills and Spirit Feeding Pills,” the young fox reported.

“Hmm, that’s enough. Stop taking orders now; I need to go into seclusion to focus on refining these pills.”

“I’ll have them all done within a year,” Xu Fan said with a smile, thinking that this amount should be enough to cover all the young beasts in the holy city.

“Alright, I’ll let them know,” the young fox said, darting out in a flash.

Meanwhile, inside Xu Fan’s Daoist artifact palace, two automated production lines for spirit pills were already up and running.

Spirit Cut and Respected Elder Ling Xiu circled the production lines, murmuring in awe, “I always thought this was just a legend, but now I’m seeing it with my own eyes.”

“I’ve only heard about this in the Elder Council. I never thought I’d actually witness it,” Respected Elder Ling Xiu said, his face filled with amazement.

“Are the puppets in our sect made the same way?” Spirit Cut asked Xu Yuexian, who was standing nearby.

“Yes, at first, the master crafted a few puppets, and then those puppets made more puppets,” Xu Yuexian explained.

Hearing this, Spirit Cut became even more determined to stick close to this powerful ally.

Respected Elder Ling Xiu looked at Spirit Cut with a hint of envy, wishing he could join the Hidden Spirit Sect if he weren’t already tied to the Elder Council.

As the production lines hummed, the puppets placed the processed spirit herbs into their designated spots.

Before long, a bottle of Body-Refining Pills and a bottle of Spirit Feeding Pills were successfully produced at the same time.

Spirit Cut and Respected Elder Ling Xiu felt their understanding of the world being completely reshaped.

“I thought mass-producing magical treasures was impressive enough, but now even pills can be made this way?” Spirit Cut’s eyes shone with admiration for Xu Fan.

Four months later, the door to Xu Fan’s alchemy room opened.

An iron-eating beast walked out holding an empty bone.

“Big Brother Nèndié, you’ve come out of seclusion,” the Young Fox said, appearing in front of Xu Fan like a loyal little brother.

“The orders are done. Tell them to come and pick up their goods.”

Xu Fan made the iron-eating beast’s face show a hint of tiredness as he spoke.

“Got it, Big Brother Nèndié. Wait for me.”

It wasn’t until the next day that Xu Fan finished delivering all the orders.

Thanks to Xu Fan’s tweaks, this batch of pills contained a deadly virus that could stay hidden in the body for decades, even centuries.

It would only activate when the beasts who took the pills entered the Human Realm and started fighting with everything they had.

Once it kicked in, they’d go berserk, attacking anything that moved, like wild animals with no control.

As Xu Fan strolled through the holy city, he admired the sights and thought to himself,

“I hope you’ll all feel my love for you someday.”

“Big Brother Nèndié, what’s next for us?”

“Are we going to keep refining pills?” the Young Fox asked.

“I’ve got enough for travel now. After I visit the Moon Fox Beast King, I’ll be on my way,” Xu Fan replied.

“You’re really leaving, Big Brother Nèndié?” the Young Fox said, his voice tinged with sadness.

After spending time together, he realized he didn’t want to let go of this great big brother.

“All good things must come to an end. I’ll come back to see you.”

Xu Fan patted the Young Fox with his bear paw.

“Yeah, Big Brother Nèndié, you’ve got to come back,” the Young Fox said, though he knew he couldn’t keep him.

“Don’t worry, we’ll see each other again,” Xu Fan said firmly.

Three days later, after visiting the Moon Fox Beast King, Xu Fan boarded a beast race warship to the next holy city.

“I didn’t expect the beast race’s transportation to be this advanced,” Xu Fan remarked as he stood on the giant beast race warship.

In the Extreme Void Domain of the demon race, there were fast routes similar to the human race’s navigation paths.

It was said the beast emperor, the Golden Winged Roc, used incredible power to create Spirit Wind Paths in the Extreme Void Domain.

They were even faster than the human race’s routes.

Xu Fan stood on the deck, taking in the sights of the Extreme Void Domain and comparing them to the Human Realm.

Just then, a white jade giant elephant approached Xu Fan and settled down beside him.

“What brings you here, big brother?” Xu Fan asked, curious as he looked at the white jade giant elephant.

The white jade giant elephant was one of the royal clans, with at least two beast kings in their ranks, equal to the invincible elders of the human race.

“Our clans are close. It’s rare to see an iron-eating beast out here, so I thought I’d make friends,” the white jade giant elephant said kindly.

“It’s fate to meet the White Jade Giant Elephant Clan out here. I’m Nèndié. What’s your name?” Xu Fan waved his bear paw and spoke with a friendly tone.

“Call me Fayun,” the white jade giant elephant said, handing Xu Fan a jade token.

“This is my jade tooth token. If you ever visit my clan, just show this, and you’ll find me,” Fayun said with a warm smile that made Xu Fan feel a bit awkward.

Xu Fan took the jade tooth token and handed over a bottle of Moonlight Pills to the white jade giant elephant.

Of course, these were the special kind.

“These are Moonlight Pills I made. Hope you don’t mind, big brother,” Xu Fan said with a grin, his eyes lingering on the elephant’s massive tusks.

He thought to himself that when this white jade giant elephant became a beast king, those tusks would make for some rare artifact-level crafting material.
