Chapter 444: A Wonderful Destiny

“I didn’t expect you to be an alchemist, my brother; I’m truly impressed,” the white jade giant elephant Fayun said with a smile.

“I learned a bit of alchemy from the elders in my clan; it’s nothing special,” Xu Fan replied humbly with a smile, but he wondered what the white jade giant elephant wanted with him.

“With just your Transformation Stage cultivation, you can refine pills of such quality; you are bound to become an alchemist in the future,” the white jade giant elephant Fayun praised.

“Brother, this is our first meeting, but I feel like you are like family to me.”

“So, don’t hold back; just tell me what you need. If I can help, I will,” Xu Fan said, secretly amused that even the demon race appreciated such gestures.

“You know that our clan has a tradition of using giant teeth from ascended elders to craft artifacts.”

“Our two clans have always cooperated, so I was wondering if you could help me contact your clan’s master craftsman and ask him to craft a set of inheritance battle armor for me.”

“Of course, I wouldn’t let your clan’s master craftsman work for free,” Fayun said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

When the teleportation formation was still active, the White Jade Giant Elephant Clan had ways to contact the Iron-eating Beast Clan.

But now that the space between the two realms was sealed, their connection had been cut off.

That’s why Fayun rushed over to communicate when he saw an Iron-eating Beast of such pure quality.

Just as Xu Fan was about to speak, he suddenly heard Grape’s voice.

“Master, I just detected a signal from the puppet avatar sent to Qianling Sect.”

“Their plan is to attack this Beast Race Warship.”

“Based on the Beast Race Warship’s speed, in twenty breaths, it will enter the attack range of the Qianling Sect’s Star Ship.”

Grape’s voice was unusually hurried.

As soon as Xu Fan heard this, he immediately sprang into action. Without a second thought, he broke through the protective shield of the Beast Race Warship and leaped down.

Surrounding himself with over ten layers of shields, he transformed into a streak of light and darted away into the distance.

“Brother, where are you going?! I still have more to say!”

“Besides, you jumped into the wrong place! You can’t survive long in the Extreme Void Domain!”

“Brother, come back! Otherwise, you’ll definitely die!” Fayun shouted anxiously, shocked that the young brother he had just met was gone so suddenly.

At that moment, other demons on the Beast Race Warship also noticed the Iron-eating Beast jumping off the ship.

“Is this demon out of its mind?”

“Isn’t this suicide?”

“Without cultivation above the Core Formation stage, daring to wander the Extreme Void Domain alone?”

“One less Iron-eating Beast in the demon race~”

Just then, several red lights suddenly flared up in the distance.

“Boom~”

Three main cannon shots precisely hit the control room of the Beast Race Warship.

In an instant, the Beast Race Warship was engulfed in flames.

Meanwhile, Xu Fan, who had already retreated dozens of kilometers away, instantly summoned twelve heavy armor puppets wielding giant shields crafted from artifacts at the Void Refinement stage.

The puppet, wielding a Giant Shield, formed a spherical defense, securely shielding Xu Fan in the center.

“This is absolutely thrilling,” Xu Fan remarked, sensing the aftershocks of the explosions outside.

“Grape, send your doppelgänger puppet to alert the Star Ship over there.”

“Make sure they don’t mistake me for a disposable pawn later,” Xu Fan added.

“Understood, Master.”

Meanwhile, near the Beast Race Warship, two enormous Star Ships emerged from a concealed Formation.

“Not bad at all; this marks our third Beast Race Warship destroyed.”

“We should relocate soon, or we’ll draw the beast race’s attention,” Master Qianling said with a grin.

“It’s a shame the Grand Elder of the Hidden Spirit Sect isn’t here; otherwise, I’d have to commend him for the puppet he provided.”

Suddenly, the silent puppet at the control station spoke up: “Master, the Grand Elder of the Hidden Spirit Sect is nearby.”

“???”

Is the puppet malfunctioning?

At that moment, Master Qianling’s communication artifact chimed.

He picked it up and saw that it was indeed the Grand Elder of the Hidden Spirit Sect.

“Grand Elder?” Master Qianling asked, puzzled, after answering.

“No need for confusion; it’s me, the Grand Elder of the Hidden Spirit Sect. As for how I got here, we’ll discuss it when we meet,” Xu Fan’s voice came through the communication artifact.

“Alright,” Master Qianling replied, still in disbelief at running into an old friend in such a place.

After they ended the call, Xu Fan soon arrived, piloting a small spaceship that landed smoothly on the Qianling Sect’s Star Ship.

Even as Xu Fan stepped out, Master Qianling struggled to believe it.

“Grand Elder, you’re here to intercept the Beast Race Warship too?” Master Qianling asked.

“It’s a long story, but I was essentially forced to come here,” Xu Fan explained.

“No worries, we’ll take our time.”

“Let’s head back now; I’d like to properly host the Grand Elder.”

“What a stroke of fate to meet you here. Once we return, we must catch up properly.”

Master Qianling smiled and ushered Xu Fan into the ship’s cabin.

“Let’s set off.”

With that, the two massive Star Ships activated their invisibility Formation and began their journey toward the beast race continent.

In a lavish guest room aboard the Star Ship, Xu Fan shared his recent experiences, leaving Master Qianling thoroughly impressed.

“I never imagined the beast race truly had the means to control giant beasts of the Extreme Void Domain.”

“I’d only heard rumors before; I didn’t think it was real,” Master Qianling said gravely, contemplating how he’d handle such a threat.

“If you’ve heard of it, the Elder Council must know as well; they likely have countermeasures in place.”

“They do, but what about us? What do we do if we encounter them?” Master Qianling asked, visibly troubled.

“What else? We run~”

“Detect them early, escape, and prepare for their sneak attacks.”

“Usually, it’s not a big deal,” Xu Fan said with a chuckle.

He had prepared, though it came at a cost.

“The Grand Elder makes a fair point; running is our only option~” Master Qianling conceded.

In the entire cultivation world, only two factions—or perhaps just one—had the means to defeat the giant beasts of the Extreme Void Domain.

The Elder Council and the Heavenly Refining Sect were practically one and the same.

“How long have you been in the demon race, respected elder?” Xu Fan asked curiously.

“A few years now. I used to steer the Star Ship around the Extreme Void Domain of our world, but I found the demon race side more intriguing.”

“So I came here.”

“This Wind Spirit Passage is a recent discovery of mine; I’ve already intercepted three Beast Race Warships,” Master Qianling said with a smile.

“It’s a shame we can’t ambush in this area anymore; we’ll need to find new spots.”

“You’re truly remarkable, respected elder!” Xu Fan praised, impressed by the guerrilla tactics in the demon race.

“Not at all; these are just suggestions from the puppet steering the Star Ship. I merely followed them,” Master Qianling replied humbly.

At that moment, Xu Fan noticed the invisibility Formation on the Star Ship’s outer wall and remarked, “Respected Elder, the cost of inscribing this invisibility Formation on these two Star Ships must have been substantial, right?”

Xu Fan’s comment struck a chord with Master Qianling.
