Chapter 451: Teaching a Special Skill

The Third Grand Elder silently watched the disciples of Qianling Sect in the secret realm.

The Core Formation Stage Elder beside the Third Grand Elder started to feel nervous.

He was afraid the Third Grand Elder might say, "You should take your own life as an apology."

What could he do to save himself in such a situation?

“What do you think is the difference between our sect’s disciples and the Hidden Spirit Sect Disciple?” the Third Grand Elder asked Master Qianling.

“Not much; it’s like comparing a grape to a Grand Elder.”

“Why don’t we find a way to force the Grand Elder to stay and bring the Hidden Spirit Sect into Qianling Sect? Wouldn’t that be great?” Master Qianling chuckled, imagining he could take more Star Ships out in the future.

“You’re overthinking it. The Grand Elder isn’t that kind of person. But we can send some people to the Hidden Spirit Sect to learn.”

“I’ve already talked to their Grand Elder. We can send a few disciples to their Hidden Spirit Sect to study.”

“As long as it’s not their core techniques, everything else is fair game for their disciples,” the Third Grand Elder said.

“What did you offer to make this happen? The Grand Elder was against it before,” Master Qianling asked.

“I offered to help the Grand Elder repair the Star Ship for free. We’ll provide the manpower, labor, and materials,” the Third Grand Elder replied.

“You! That was the deal I was going to offer, and now you’re taking the credit,” Master Qianling frowned.

“What’s the difference? It’s all for the benefit of Qianling Sect,” the Third Grand Elder said casually.

Meanwhile, Xu Fan had already started repairing the Star Ship in an abandoned secret realm of Qianling Sect.

Two master craftsmen from Qianling Sect discussed the repair plans for the Star Ship with Xu Fan.

Xu Fan used the light shadow technique to create a 3D model of the Star Ship.

“The two masters just need to help me repair the ship’s outer hull and Formation,” he said.

“As for the broken ribs and the spiritual energy core, I’ll handle those,” Xu Fan added.

“Shouldn’t we get someone from the Heavenly Refining Sect to fix the spiritual energy core?” one of the master craftsmen asked, confused.

“Do they offer on-site service?” Xu Fan was surprised.

“They do, but the cost is pretty high. Qianling Sect has ways to contact the Heavenly Refining Sect,” the master craftsman explained.

“How much does the on-site service cost?” Xu Fan asked, curious. If possible, he’d still prefer to have them fix it.

“It’s about half the cost of a Star Ship,” one master craftsman sighed. The Heavenly Refining Sect had already repaired his Star Ship three times, and each time the price made him cringe.

“…”

“Never mind, I’ll just fix it myself. Their on-site service is way too expensive,” Xu Fan said.

The Heavenly Refining Sect is really something else, Xu Fan thought to himself.

“The Grand Elder can repair the spiritual energy core!” one master craftsman exclaimed in shock.

“What’s so hard about repairing it?” Xu Fan laughed.

“If you two are curious, you can watch while I fix it,” Xu Fan offered, ready to break the monopoly on the technique.

By saying this, Xu Fan meant he was willing to share the method with the two master craftsmen, as a way to repay Qianling Sect for the free repair of the Star Ship.

Two master craftsmen exchanged glances and bowed to Xu Fan, saying, “Thank you, Grand Elder.”

Then, Xu Fan and the two master craftsmen began repairing the damaged Star Ship.

A month later, Xu Fan stood at a distance, looking at the reassembled Star Ship with a smile.

“Grand Elder, is the Star Ship fixed now?” Spirit Cut asked curiously beside him.

“Not yet. We’ve only repaired the spiritual energy core. Once we perfectly reassemble the broken frame of the Star Ship, we’ll be mostly done,” Xu Fan replied.

“How much longer will it take?” Spirit Cut asked, feeling uneasy in other sects, especially with an invincible respected elder above him who could crush him at any moment.

“About three more months. By then, we’ll have been away from the sect for nearly a year,” Xu Fan calculated.

“It’s been so long. I wonder how things are back at the sect,” Xu Fan said, gazing at the sky.

“With Grape and your disciples around, what could possibly go wrong?” Spirit Cut replied.

“What did you do to get those two master craftsmen so excited?” Spirit Cut asked, watching the busy master craftsmen in the distance.

“Nothing much, just taught them a few Special Skills,” Xu Fan said with a laugh.

He had shared the basic structure of the spiritual energy core with the two master craftsmen. With this knowledge, repairing a damaged spiritual energy core would be no problem.

Of course, creating one from scratch was still beyond them.

But this was enough to excite the two master craftsmen. Mastering this skill would surely boost their status in the sect.

“Your Special Skills must be something special,” Spirit Cut remarked, watching the diligent master craftsmen.

“Of course! Mastering it can secure a good future,” Xu Fan said with pride.

“No wonder.”

At that moment, Xu Fan received word that Master Qianling needed to speak with him.

In Qianling Sect, at the guest hall.

“Grand Elder, I just remembered something. I met a disciple from your sect in the extreme north. His name was Han Feiyu.”

“I just recalled this, so I thought I’d let you know,” Master Qianling said.

“Han Feiyu? He’s my disciple’s disciple. What was the situation like?” Xu Fan asked.

“He was fine, but he got trapped in a remote, isolated city.”

“After meeting me, he disappeared. He must have used some method to teleport away.”

“It’s quite amusing. Your disciple even took precautions against me when he left,” Master Qianling said with a laugh.

“That’s normal. My sect’s disciples don’t trust anyone easily once they’re out,” Xu Fan chuckled.

He was relieved to know Han Feiyu was safe in the extreme north. The rest wasn’t his concern—the Heavenly Dao would take care of him.

“Haha, just like when my sect’s disciples go out,” Master Qianling said with a laugh.

“Thank you for letting me know. I would’ve been worried about him otherwise,” Xu Fan said with a smile.

“No need for thanks between our sects,” Master Qianling said, waving his hand dismissively.

At that moment, Master Qianling’s expression turned slightly awkward.

He rubbed his hands together and asked, “Grand Elder, is that technique from your sect available for purchase?”

“I’d like to buy it.”

“Which technique?” Xu Fan asked, puzzled.

“The one that’s like the Grand Feast at the Celestial Palace, but it turns out to be…” Master Qianling said.

“Ah, I see! You want the Grand Feast at the Celestial Palace technique,” Xu Fan said, his expression turning curious.

“Yes, that’s the one!” Master Qianling replied with a smile.

He had finished his preparations at Qianling Sect and was ready to set off in a Star Ship to explore the Extreme Void Domain of the human race. Before that, he felt it was necessary to learn this technique.
