Chapter 482: Yun Tianxing’s Strength

Ying Wujun’s face turned ashen, his lips twitching twice, yet he found himself powerless. Though his cultivation surpassed Jun Ruolan’s, this woman possessed mid-grade Immortal artifacts and could unleash their formidable power.

Ying Wujun knew fighting to the death might give him a chance to slay Jun Ruolan. But he refused to gamble—Ye Yun only held Thunder Wood. Had it been the seed of the mysteries of thunder, he might have risked it.

"Hmph! I didn’t expect such treasures in your hands. Consider this a fluke victory—keep the Thunder Wood," Ying Wujun spat bitterly, resentment clear in his voice.

"My thanks," Jun Ruolan replied with a serene smile, utterly unbothered.

"Brother Yun, isn’t it your turn to face Su Xingyun now?" she suddenly asked, her tone sweet.

A sharp glint flashed in Yun Tianxing’s eyes as he chuckled. "What a pity you finished so quickly. I’d hoped to watch longer."

He turned slightly to face Su Xingyun.

Su Xingyun’s mouth twitched. He knew he couldn’t match Yun Tianxing, who’d mastered Thunder Spirit Qi and survived the heavenly tribulation—advantages that made him nearly invincible in Thunder Falls Valley.

But Su Xingyun had never planned to fight alone. Their original scheme was to wound Jun Ruolan first, then team up against Yun Tianxing to claim both Thunder Woods. Now, though Jun Ruolan remained unharmed, they could still join forces—if she didn’t interfere.

Su Xingyun glanced at Ying Wujun.

Catching the look, both men briefly shifted their gazes to Jun Ruolan. She noticed immediately.

"Brother Yun, it seems they intend to gang up on you," she said playfully.

Ying Wujun and Su Xingyun stiffened, startled she’d voiced their thoughts aloud.

Before they could protest, Yun Tianxing laughed. "I expected nothing less. These two hail from the Wan Ling Sect and Flying Star Sect—third-rate sects known for underhanded tactics."

"You go too far!" Ying Wujun roared. Though inferior to the Divine Grace Palace and Misty Sect, their sects rivaled Yun Tianxing’s Golden Sword Sect.

"Brother Ying, why waste words? He insults our sects—we’ll teach him respect!" Su Xingyun hissed, cold fury in his eyes.

"Agreed. Let’s humble him together," Ying Wujun said, feigning reluctance.

Su Xingyun flicked his wrist, spiritual light flaring like flames in his palm.

Yun Tianxing remained calm, thunder rumbling around him as arcs of lightning crackled through the air.

"Attack together. It’ll spare me accusations of bullying you in Thunder Falls Valley," he said dismissively.

The two men exchanged murderous glances. As top talents of their sects—Ying Wujun having abandoned leadership for greater power, Su Xingyun a future sect leader candidate—they burned with pride.

"Black Purple Flame!" Su Xingyun barked. Dark fire erupted from his palm, swelling to two zhang tall.

"Falling Star Style!" Ying Wujun slashed his black blade, summoning a meteor-like energy that streaked toward Yun Tianxing—a technique reserved for sect leaders, granted to Ying Wujun for his unmatched talent.

The combined assault of Golden Core experts who’d endured heavenly tribulations should have been lethal. Yet Yun Tianxing sneered.

"Fools."

He stepped back, hands carving through air. Lightning exploded across the sky, countless bolts weaving into a crackling net.

"Heavenly Thunder Electric Net!"

The net engulfed both attacks, crushing flame and meteor together. With a sharp gesture, Yun Tianxing shredded them into fading sparks.

Jun Ruolan’s eyes widened. She hadn’t anticipated Yun Tianxing’s strength—nor how Thunder Spirit Qi amplified his power here.

Su Xingyun vomited blood. His three-year cultivated true fire, linked to his spirit, had been torn apart. Ying Wujun stood frozen, disbelief etching his face—how could Golden Sword Sect’s disciple dismantle their full-force attack?

"Yun Tianxing… what’s your cultivation level?"

The man smiled faintly. "Sixth-tier Golden Core. Survived heavenly tribulation. Grasped a wisp of Thunder Spirit Qi. Nothing remarkable."
