Chapter 508: Untitled

"You can’t stay in this state in the Extreme Void Domain for long. Find a place to recover and head toward the mainland," Old Sword advised.

"I know," Ye Xiaoyao said, his face filled with unwillingness.

"Opportunities come and go. If you miss one, you just have to keep moving forward step by step. The end result will still be the same," Old Sword said, offering rare encouragement.

Ye Xiaoyao nodded and flew toward the land, surrounded by five Spiritual Swords that sped him out of the area.

Meanwhile, Master Qianling was staring at the wreckage of the giant beast race warship, muttering, "Run all you want, but you can’t escape me."

"None of your beast race warships can survive if I decide to take them down," Master Qianling said with a smirk, clearly proud of himself.

He was cruising through the Extreme Void Domain with his newly formed Star Ship fleet when four giant beast race warships suddenly appeared and attacked him. Naturally, Master Qianling effortlessly destroyed them.

But there was one more warship trying to escape in the distance. Master Qianling wasn’t about to let it get away, but it was surprisingly fast. It took him a while to catch up, and he only managed to do so by using the acceleration device Xu Fan had given him.

Onboard Master Qianling’s Star Ship, many passengers watched the scene unfold.

"Interesting. A human swordsman on a beast race warship? He must have had some plan, but Qianling here ruined it," Nine Sword Respected Elder remarked, watching the direction Ye Xiaoyao had fled.

"Master, there was a human swordsman on that warship!" Jian Wujie exclaimed.

"Yes, a mere Void Refinement stage cultivator daring to infiltrate a beast race warship. You have to admire his courage," Nine Sword Respected Elder said with a chuckle, a hint of admiration in his eyes.

"Is that swordsman really that strong?" Jian Wujie asked curiously.

“His talent is a bit less than yours, but he’s still exceptional among men,” Nine Sword Respected Elder said. If he didn’t already have a disciple, he might have taken him as a temporary disciple, only promoting him when the time was right.

“Talent isn’t everything. He might not end up weaker than me. Master, have you thought about taking him as your disciple and sending me back?” Jian Wujie asked.

Compared to staying with Nine Sword Respected Elder, he preferred the life of a sect—working on missions and hanging out with his brothers.

“You’ve already accepted the inheritance. If you want to give it up, you can, but first you’ll have to survive my pursuit,” Nine Sword Respected Elder said, eyeing his restless disciple.

“Master, I’ll train harder!” Jian Wujie quickly replied.

“That’s more like it. That’s what a good disciple should do,” Nine Sword Respected Elder said with a smile.

Jian Wujie lowered his head, resigned once again.

Meanwhile, Ye Xiaoyao, moving at extreme speed, was feeling the strain. The Guardian Sword Formation created by his Five Spiritual Swords was starting to falter.

The spiritual pressure from the Extreme Void Domain was becoming unbearable.

“Old Sword, get out here and help me!” Ye Xiaoyao shouted.

“If you’d practiced the Protective Sword Formation more, you’d know how important it is now,” Old Sword said, taking control of Ye Xiaoyao’s body.

“Five Elements Guardian Sword Formation? Easy,” Old Sword said with a grin.

He activated the sword formation, and the protective shield shifted into a bullet-like shape. Behind it, the Five Elements of Spiritual Energy transformed into spiritual flames, boosting the speed two to three times instantly.

“Old Sword, you’re a pro at handling sword formations!” Ye Xiaoyao said, impressed by the flashy Guardian Sword Formation.

“This is nothing. If the space weren’t sealed, I could’ve used the Spiritual Sword to set up a teleportation formation,” Old Sword said.

“Alright, I get it. You’re amazing.”

“So, where are we heading now?” Ye Xiaoyao asked.

“Let’s just go with the flow. It’s too late to aim for any specific fairy city,” Old Sword replied.

“Guess that’s our only option.”

A thousand miles from Lin Sen Fairy City, Ye Xiaoyao plunged into the ground like a spear, creating a deep pit.

An hour later, a hand appeared at the edge of the pit.

Ye Xiaoyao climbed out, covered in dirt, and sat cross-legged to recover.

“I made it out alive,” Ye Xiaoyao said, looking up at the sky with a hint of fear.

Having just left the Extreme Void Domain, he was still thousands of miles above the ground and had used up the last of his spiritual energy.

Though he couldn’t fly without spiritual energy, he could still manage a controlled free fall.

As long as he regained a bit of spiritual energy in the air, he could take off just before hitting the ground.

Ye Xiaoyao had it all planned out, and his spiritual energy was recovering steadily.

But a few hundred miles from the ground, he suddenly felt a chilling aura, as if something was targeting him.

Without thinking, Ye Xiaoyao instinctively activated the Protective Sword Formation to guard against the unknown threat.

However, his recovered spiritual energy was minimal, and he’d already used his emergency recovery items in the Extreme Void Domain.

The Protective Sword Formation didn’t last long, and Ye Xiaoyao quickly ran out of spiritual energy again.

Just before hitting the ground, he used a defensive treasure to save himself.

Ye Xiaoyao spent three full hours recovering at the spot before he felt stable again.

At that moment, a Void Refinement Stage Puppet appeared before him.

“Outsider, your identity is not in the database.”

“State your name, sect, and reason for being here.”

The Void Refinement Stage Puppet held a longsword as it stood in front of Ye Xiaoyao.

“Old Sword, should I fight?”

Ye Xiaoyao had regained some spiritual energy and felt confident he could take down the puppet.

“Don’t bother. You can’t beat this one,” Old Sword said with a sigh.

“Hostile intent detected. Elimination requested,” the puppet said mechanically.

Just then, eleven beams of light appeared in the sky, forming the Twelve Celestial Sword Execution Formation, surrounding Ye Xiaoyao.

“You can’t even handle one, let alone twelve,” Old Sword remarked.

Ye Xiaoyao felt a chill run down his spine.

“State your name, sect, and reason for being here,” the puppet said, its eyes glowing red as it scanned Ye Xiaoyao.

“Wan Qiu, Sword King Sect. I was chased here,” Ye Xiaoyao lied casually.

“Information inconsistent. Outsider, you are lying.”

“Correct your answers. You have two more chances.”

The twelve Void Refinement Stage Puppets surrounding Ye Xiaoyao began to glow, and the Twelve Celestial Sword Execution Formation started to take shape.

“Ye Xiaoyao, Sword King Sect. I was chased here.”

“Logic inconsistent. You have one last chance.”

The Twelve Celestial Sword Execution Formation was now fully formed, and the overwhelming aura it emitted made Ye Xiaoyao realize he had no choice but to tell the truth today.
