Chapter 529: Entering the Spiritual Pond

Burning Divine Platform!

Again, the Burning Divine Platform!

When Ye Yun saw the light and shadow appear on the platform, followed by a spatial gate, his eyelid twitched.

If the Ancestor of the Sword Path had only harbored suspicions about the platform containing a passage to the Saint’s Secret Vault before, Ye Yun now felt far more certain.

This wasn’t merely a simple spatial Immortal artifact for disciples to spar. It truly possessed the ability to connect with the void. Who knew how many hidden passages lay within it?

Disciples of Absolute Heart Peak wore eager expressions. Only elites were chosen to enter the Spiritual Pond, and those who had been there before knew the immense benefits it offered.

Meanwhile, the two disciples from Demon Suppression Peak showed contrasting reactions. Ding Qian kept her head lowered, face still pale from Yan Rushui’s lingering pressure.

Kuang Wuwei stood expressionless, resolve burning in his eyes. He seemed to have made a weighty decision recently—whether to defend Divine Grace Palace or pursue rapid cultivation growth.

"Let us follow Elder Kuang into the Burning Divine Platform and proceed to the Spiritual Pond," Shu Anshi said, his voice gentle but clear.

"Yes!"

The disciples chorused, unable to fully suppress their excitement.

Shu Anshi turned to Kuang Wuwei. "Elder Kuang, after you."

Acknowledging his seniority, Kuang Wuwei nodded and leapt onto the platform in an instant.

The other disciples followed Shu Anshi, faces alight with anticipation. Only Ye Yun wore an unreadable expression, his eyes scanning their surroundings restlessly.

"Excited, Junior Brother?" Kun Huazi asked, noticing Ye Yun’s wandering gaze.

"Not particularly," Ye Yun replied. "You’ve already explained much about the Spiritual Pond."

Kun Huazi chuckled. "It’s simple—absorb spiritual energy, refine it, endure as long as possible."

"This platform’s more than a sparring ground," Ye Yun mused. "Far more complex."

"True," Kun Huazi agreed. "Even I don’t grasp its full mysteries."

Shu Anshi interjected, "Forged millennia ago by a great expert. Forty-nine years of labor, countless heavenly materials and earthly treasures consumed. The creator even sacrificed half his essence blood, weakening himself permanently. Our Divine Grace Palace acquired it by chance—only the Palace Master may command it."

Ye Yun’s eyes narrowed. If linked to the Immortal Sword Sect’s Saint from the Great Qin Empire era, how could its weakened creator have established the impregnable Saint’s Secret Vault? Unless another expert was involved…

"Enough speculation." Shu Anshi cut through his thoughts. "Focus on breaking through to the Golden Core stage."

Ye Yun nodded. "Understood, elder brother."

One by one, disciples vanished through the spatial gate as light beams. Shu Anshi paused at the threshold, then stepped through.

In an instant, Shu Anshi’s figure twisted before dissolving into light and shadow, vanishing completely.

"Let’s go. I can’t wait any longer." Zhuge Chong pushed Ye Yun forward. "This time we must fully break the seal and reach peak Golden Core in one push."

Ye Yun nodded with a grin. "Right. I must condense my Golden Core too."

The two exchanged brief smiles and stepped into the spatial gate. Their forms warped into ethereal figures before disappearing.

Kun Huazi lingered last. He stared at the spatial gate, eyes narrowed and brows occasionally furrowed. After a moment, he shook his head and entered.

As Kun Huazi vanished, the spatial gate atop the Burning Divine Platform dissipated. The platform trembled, shrinking into a streak of light that flew into the Divine Grace Palace Master’s palm.

Outside the Divine Grace Palace, the Divine Grace Palace Master stood beside Tian Yunzi.

"Senior Brother, your thoughts?" The Divine Grace Palace Master smiled.

"Time is short. Improve your cultivation swiftly." Tian Yunzi watched the empty sky where the platform had been, a glimmer of excitement in his gaze.

Sensing this, the Divine Grace Palace Master raised an eyebrow. An immense pressure radiated from him, transforming his kindly demeanor into the majestic aura of a true grandmaster.

The spatial gate worked mysteriously. Ye Yun stepped through and instantly found himself in a valley. Less than a hundred zhang ahead, a bubbling pool spanned twenty to thirty zhang across.

Ye Yun inhaled deeply. The spiritual energy around him was so dense it felt damp against his face, nearly condensing into liquid.

If the air held this much energy, the pool’s contents defied imagination.

"That’s the Spiritual Pond." Kun Huazi gestured beside Ye Yun.

Ye Yun nodded, anticipation flashing in his eyes.

By the pond’s edge stood Kuang Wuwei, Shu Anshi, and Ding Qian. Other Absolute Heart Peak disciples waited silently with hands clasped.

"Elder Kuang, the Spiritual Pond is open." Shu Anshi’s gentle voice carried respect. Though strongest in cultivation, he deferred to Kuang Wuwei’s seniority and tempered mindset.

"No formalities. Enter freely—we’re only ten here." Kuang Wuwei strode into the pond, face set as he marched toward the center.

Shu Anshi waved casually. "Follow Elder Kuang’s lead. Don’t overreach your limits."

He leaped onto the water, feet skimming the surface twice before landing three zhang from the center. Instantly, his relaxed expression tightened into focus.

Watching this, Ye Yun understood the pond’s pressure increased toward the center. He stepped in without haste.

*Sss—*

Spiritual energy flooded through his foot pores, torrential and overwhelming. The sheer density astonished him.
