Chapter 367
byChapter 367: The Collapse of Chaos Begins!
“Hmm…”
“I feel like something is still missing.”
…
Ye’s Foolish Act crawled slowly through the Primal Mud and the Ether Sea, followed by a line of Star-Eater Plutonium Dragons; they connected head to tail, forming a train-like line.
Many Star-Eater Plutonium Dragons were very excited because that day was a big one.
They gathered their strongest forces and attacked the fourth Chaos Demon God Samikina and Amon’s subordinate officials, wiping out thirty-nine of them for a big win!
This changed their old ways of only making small hits here and there, and instead hit the loud Chaotic Forces hard…
“This bragging makes me blush…”
Sprout’s Thin Clothing, who followed Ye’s Foolish Act, spat and shook his head with a creak.
“Even though we killed many subordinates this time, it was really just like beating two core councilors.”
“The rest were just small fry!”
“At most, it went from light scraping to heavy scraping!”
“It wasn’t a heavy blow at all.”
…
The ones who truly cheered for this win were the young, new Star-Eater Plutonium Dragons who had just grown up and joined the fight.
The older fighters were happy but, like Sprout’s Thin Clothing, felt the victory wasn’t as big as they thought!
It was messy and unfinished.
About Sprout’s Thin Clothing’s grumbles, Ye’s Foolish Act stayed quiet on the outside; but inside, she was already trying to fix things.
Of course, with the Star-Eater Plutonium Dragons’ smarts, thinking didn’t help much.
So she had to ask "Mr. Sub-brain" for help again.
“Sir…”
“You once said that when two tigers fight, the fox gets a chance, but we didn’t even kill a tiger; we only caught a mouse…”
“So, what chance do you mean?”
Ye’s Foolish Act felt the pressure.
Both the Star-Eater Plutonium Dragons who thought they’d won big and those who saw it as a step up still scattered fast.
【Retreating now is like a person buying jewelry, throwing away the jewels, but keeping only the box.】
“Uh… Sir, your words are still so deep.”
Ye’s Foolish Act got very annoyed by this, feeling like yelling, “Riddle Master, get out of Gotham.”
But she stopped herself.
“Keep going…”
“Wait…”
Ye’s Foolish Act halted, and the following procession stopped as well.
“What’s wrong?”
Sprout’s Thin Clothing slowly crawled forward, inquiring about the situation.
Yet Ye’s Foolish Act could no longer answer him because…
【Buzz——!】
A colossal, frantic will descended into Ye’s Foolish Act’s soul through the sub-brain.
That familiar single-syllable language resonated thunderously, making the simple souls of the Star-Eater Plutonium Dragons tremble and quake.
An overwhelming torrent of information surged in, nearly scorching through Ye’s Foolish Act’s soul.
Fortunately, Sprout’s Thin Clothing, who had drawn near, was also "seized" and "tainted" by this power, sharing the deluge of data.
“Cough, cough…”
“What just happened…”
This agonizing outcry came and went swiftly.
Soon, their souls regained clarity.
But…
“Hmm?”
Whether influenced by that will or not, the two Star-Eater Plutonium Dragon leaders locked eyes, nodded, and crawled toward a long-abandoned Bubble World!
“Rumble——!”
Hundreds of Star-Eater Plutonium Dragons trailed behind them, advancing with menacing force.
These ruins were once named Saraph.
Yet visitors had already arrived there first.
—-
“So this is divine grace?!”
“Great is the Giant God!”
Souls entombed within metal coffins trembled.
Their shaking stemmed not from fear, but exhilaration!
“The Merciful Giant God truly knows our needs!”
“Roar——!”
A towering metal construct shattered an onrushing Despair Demon with a disintegration-energy blade.
“Hiss…”
The demon was utterly destroyed.
“This… how… possible…”
It stared in shock as its “law substance armor” slowly decomposed—armor supposedly woven from dimensional fibers of the Fantasy Tree of Subspace.
Although the energy and environment of the Fantasy Tree of Subspace had been severed, the resilience and the "laws of the City of Dimensions" attached to it remained, even if only a tiny bit; yet, even that little bit was not something any mortal-level attack could break.
At least not in one strike.
But now, the "metal statue’s" blade of disintegration struck once and cut through what it called "law substance armor," and in the process, broke down the entire body of the Despair Demon into the most basic magical particles.
“Uh… Ahhhhhh—!”
The Despair Demon screamed in despair, unwilling to accept its fate, but it was useless.
Finally, it turned into green ash, scattering into the void.
The Despair Demon was already a top-tier powerhouse among "non-deity demons," its strength almost matching that of a Demon Lord who could rule a domain; if it ended like this, the other demons nearby fared even worse.
“Help!”
“What… what kind of weapon is this?!”
“Too terrifying!”
The brave Saraph people blazed like fire, while the demons withered like dry grass.
One by one, they shriveled up, became green ash, and finally broke down into basic magical particles, vanishing without a trace.
Yet, this wasn’t the most frightening thing for the demons.
“Quick! Hide inside the Fantasy Tree!”
“They can’t break through the ‘law substance’!”
“Inside, it’s safe.”
…
Under the attack of the Saraph "metal beings," the demons retreated like a tide, rushing into the Fantasy Tree of Subspace for shelter.
“Though these are just young Fantasy Trees, they have law substance!”
“You can’t get in, right?!”
The chaotic demons yelled in terror.
Of course, their so-called "saplings" were only immature Fantasy Trees; to deities, they seemed small, but to mortals, they were towering structures with diameters of hundreds of meters!
Just their size and scale made them feel unbreakable.
Not to mention, inside, they had tough law substance fibers that blocked all magic and could fold space.
The only things that could harm the law substance fibers were strange "spore lumps" and "destructive mycelium"; but since the damage was slow, with regular removal and care, the Fantasy Tree of Subspace stayed strong.
But today, the furious Saraph people showed the demons something!
“Damn!”
“These Saraph people actually…”
“Could dissolve the law substance fibers!”
Bright flames flickered in the eyes of the Saraph people.
Watching the layers of law substance fibers slowly collapse, the Saraph people were thrilled!
Half of the "base" kept crumbling under the special "disintegration energy," overloading it!
Finally…
"Boom—Boom—Boom—!"
The tremendous sound of collapse echoed!
The towering "Tower of the Heavens" crumbled down!
"Great is the Giant God!"
"You knew we sought nothing, our only desire in this life was—to take revenge on chaos!"
"And you had granted us the strongest weapon!"
The Saraph people did not have a leader, but their souls, having experienced "dehydration" and "compression," became extremely resilient; when these resilient souls entered the "Soul Network," they formed a massive and incredibly tough "Collective Will."
It could read the information left by the Giant God.
It was through this that the Saraph people learned about the treasure the Giant God had left for them—"a law disintegration technique based on Holy Light from the Sun technology"!
"Chaos!"
"Saraph people would now take revenge upon you!"
"We had to settle the account from three thousand years ago!"
"Continue! Advance toward the surrounding Fantasy Trees of Subspace!"
"Destroy these annoying broken trees!"
…
But just as the Saraph people celebrated their victory, they discovered a new problem.
"Tsk…"
"This…"
When they encountered larger Fantasy Trees of Subspace, even the power granted by the Giant God seemed to weaken; the law substance between them strengthened one another, reducing the efficiency of disintegration.
Moreover…
"Boom—!"
A violent vibration surged.
"Buzz—!"
A heavy, immense, and evil divine might descended upon these mortals!
A Chaos Demon God appeared above them!
