Chapter 503: One Last Time, Time Is About to Speed Up!

Within the Ruins of Sand, half the sky burned fiercely, while the other half twisted unnaturally.

Black flames and cracks filled with malevolent gazes had finally replaced the original scenery, and Five Colors appeared even more weakened.

The majesty of the gods, the power and chaos of the alternate plane, were laid bare in such a vivid manner.

However, this did not signify the end of the conflict, leaving only a battle between demons and dark gods to decide the division of spoils.

The sky belonged to these foreign deities, but on the ground…

It was Lolth’s domain.

Centered around the magical cube, countless magic runes formed concentric circles in the air, encircling Lolth with rings of arcane symbols.

Like an asteroid belt orbiting a star, they eventually expanded to cover nearly the entire surface of the plane.

On the walls of the maze and across the sands, magic runes flickered and interconnected.

Moreover, Lolth had further refined the concepts she had developed in the abyss.

Utilizing the core technology granted by the god of plague—all the runes were replaced with more suitable ancient ones.

After all, these runes could also be used to create an artificial god, and now they were being employed once more in a spell that dared to encroach upon the divine realm.

It was nothing short of perfect!

The spell, designed with deities as the imagined adversaries, aimed to nullify the pressure imposed by rank.

Lolth had not developed the Holy Domain of a succubus; it was ill-suited for direct combat, and even more so for someone who lacked any knowledge of mental magic.

Without even deploying the Holy Domain, there was no possibility of discussing the embryonic form of the "Divine Kingdom" that arises from its expansion.

Although the paths to godhood are shrouded in secrecy and vary widely, transforming the Holy Domain into the rudiments of a Divine Kingdom is an intuition that any moderately intelligent Superoperator might grasp upon reaching the Holy Domain.

Thus, since the magic cube could create something akin to a Holy Domain…

By merely amplifying its power, it might be possible to form an entity resembling the Divine Kingdom.

Deities control the rules and can disregard the will of the planes; wherever they are, their kingdom extends…

Lolth could achieve the same!

The so-called Divine Kingdom is merely a special plane!

Ultimately, a plane is composed of magic!

Therefore, if I possess magic, why can’t I forge a "Divine Kingdom"?

On the ground, that illusory Divine Kingdom had already taken shape!

Setting aside the divine status, the Divine Kingdom, authority, and divine power, the most evident aspect of their strength is that every attack, even without casting a spell, is said to contain the power of martial skills and spells comparable to Forbidden Spell Level.

But Lolth already possessed a magical reserve far exceeding that of ordinary beings; her total magic… was on the scale of a plane.

Holy Domain, and even the demi-god level above it—Lolth had observed those so-called sub-kings and king levels from the abyss, and except for a select few at the pinnacle, none could surpass her in terms of magical capacity!

Day after day of meditation and year after year of honing her magic might sound like a bald man doing push-ups and running daily to become a superhero, but Lolth’s magic truly grew each day.

There were no plateaus, no slowdowns; as long as she meditated, her magic would incrementally increase.

The only issue was her insufficient output rate.

Lolth could never exhaust her magic.

But…

At this moment, Lolth had reached a sufficient level of power output.

If each attack from the divine feels like a forbidden spell,

Then I shall treat forbidden spells as my regular attacks!

Lolth felt the magic within her body leaping with excitement.

This was her first time utilizing this "mode."

Simultaneously, it was also her only time, fully prepared to engage in battle with the gods.

Five Colors stood within her domain, gazing blankly at Lolth.

As a core entity of a realm, not of low status herself, she could sense the magical fluctuations emanating from her opponent and could roughly gauge the terror of these magic runes.

"Your Excellency, Magistrate…"

"Do not worry, I will protect you."

Lolth’s tail remained entwined with hers, pulling slightly tighter.

With both hands occupied in controlling magic, this was the only way, akin to holding hands, to soothe this uneasy Artificial Girl.

In the Succubus clan, entwined tails signify holding hands.

This was something her own succubus junior had told her.

Given the connection between the Ailuo race and the Succubus clan, and the similarity of their tails, it was likely the same.

The girl, existing in a soul form, seemed to feel the touch from the tail. Looking at Lolth, her expression softened considerably.

"Hmm—I believe in you!"

The girl whispered, entwining more firmly.

At that moment, in the sky, the burning Gate of Hell was the first to open!

From the Gate of Hell emanated a piercing and sharp scream, eerie winds, the sound of burning, and dark, red, flickering flames.

The first to emerge were many fierce-looking beings, tall with massive bat wings on their backs.

They stood in the sky, flames burning at their joints, their upper bodies either a bright red like ripe fruit or a swollen purple, but regardless of skin color, they boasted exaggerated muscles and huge bone spikes piercing through their skin.

Each stood about seven or eight meters tall.

The weapons they wielded were distinctly characteristic of the underworld, such as a trident also ablaze with flames, or a dark, two-handed weapon that was a cross between a mace and a giant sword.

A total of six demons looked towards the gate of the evil god not far away.

The leader, an especially tall demon, had a fierce purple face with features that twisted even more.

"Master Murphy was right… Those ‘leftovers’ are indeed trying to claim a share!"

His voice was hoarse and grating, like two rocks scraping together.

"Let’s teach those ‘leftovers’ a lesson and drive them out of Master Murphy’s territory!"

He raised his fork-like weapon, the flames on him intensified, and he bellowed loudly.

"This is the most crucial part of our grand plan; we must seize it!"

All the demons roared in unison!

They grabbed their weapons, their eyes gleaming with excitement as they stared at the rift created by the Evil God Plane.

Then…

"Boom!"

A dense burst of magical light appeared almost instantly before them.

Several demons were caught off guard and were blown to smithereens.

If Patricia from the Wizard Association had been present, she would have gasped in astonishment.

"Insaesya Fear Ray!"

This was the signature technique of the Great Sage.

But when Lolth unleashed it, it was ten times more terrifying than the version the Great Sage had released with his Sacred Tool magic wand!

A pure, destructive force of magic, seemingly capable of piercing the heavens, instantly engulfed the six demons completely!

Even Five Colors, watching the blinding light reflected on her lenses and feeling the overwhelming magical output as if more than ten forbidden spells were being cast every second, was left in a daze.

Yet, beside her, Lolth merely raised her hands slightly…

Less than one-tenth of the magic runes surrounding her were activated at full power!

For this succubus, a Fear Ray ten times stronger than Patricia’s was but a trivial feat.

As the light of the ray dissipated, only two and a half demons remained.

Three had been completely vaporized, and one was left with half its body, screaming in agony.

The remaining two were barely breathing, their strength completely sapped.

Lolth calmly withdrew her hand, her cold gaze fixed on them.

"Are you serious? Holy Domain? A demi-god?"

"Is this what Hell has to offer?"

"Who do you think you’re underestimating?"

Her icy voice echoed from the ground, her disdainful eyes locking onto the three barely surviving demons.

"You claim this place belongs to your ‘Master Murphy’… but with your pitiful strength, you’re hardly convincing."

Lolth mocked them.

"Go back home and tell him to come speak to me himself! Or shut the Gate of Hell and get lost somewhere else!"

As she spoke, she clenched her fists.

The residual magic of the Fear Ray that lingered in the air suddenly condensed.

The magic formed an invisible barrier, hurling the two half-demons back into the Gate of Hell!

Then, Lolth glanced at the now tranquil Gate of Hell and let out a soft, disdainful click of her tongue.

"Sister Xiletor… is this all you’ve got?"

She said that after seeing this, she would abandon the idea of waging war against Hell.

Why do I always feel this intense urge to rush in and slap those demons from Hell a couple of times?

But Lolth also knew that she couldn’t afford to be overconfident.

The lesson from the God of Demise was still vivid in her memory.

Not to mention how foolish it would be to relinquish the home advantage, these were clearly just the low-level functionaries, the cannon fodder of Hell.

The true deity-level beings hadn’t even made their move yet!

While the Gate of Hell remained tranquil, the "crack of the Evil God Plane" suddenly constricted and then burst open.

Like a breath, this fissure expelled hundreds of "dots."

Dark gray, sludge-like "mud dots" composed of the Power of the Evil God were hurled out, rapidly expanding within this space, morphing into twisted, bizarre entities that couldn’t even be classified as monsters…

Monsters.

Unstable life forms constructed from everted flesh and malformed organs appeared, revolting creatures tumbled through the air, emitting slimy, nauseating sounds.

"Splash—"

"Nianiania—"

"Gurgle gurgle…"

Some monsters, equipped with vocal organs, emitted moist cries.

"Awaken! Awaken!"

They were shouting in the common tongue of the continent.

The cultists on the ground suddenly stirred as well, chanting "Awaken" in unison with their limbs, as the viscous, decaying Power of the Evil God surged within them, engulfing and enveloping their bodies, ultimately transforming them into creatures nearly as repulsive as those in the sky!

"Damn, this is actually quite disgusting."

Lolth observed all of this with a slight frown.

Honestly, even though she knew they were adversaries, she wasn’t particularly eager to use her magic to attack them.

It felt akin to striking a cesspool with one’s bare hands.

She had a feeling that coming into contact with this Power of the Evil God would leave a profoundly unpleasant sensation.

But regardless, a battle is a battle.

"Resorting to swarm tactics, huh… It seems the evil god is even more brainless."

Lolth sighed, sensing that although the enemies were numerous, they were a mix of Superlative and Epic levels, with the strongest not exceeding Holy Domain Middle Level aberrant organisms, revealing a look of resignation.

"Hiss—"

A section of the magical circuit before her illuminated, and magical energy coalesced into clusters resembling starlight, swiftly and precisely targeting each monster descending to the ground and hovering in the air.

Then, a violent explosion ensued!

This was even a "Level Two Arcane," a basic spell that even an apprentice in the Wizard Association might be capable of casting.

"Tracking magic projectile."

However, in Lolth’s hands, its potency was amplified more than a hundredfold.

And it was a mass sending of hundreds at once.

The power and quantity increased a hundredfold, and even when calculated simply as a product, it was enhanced ten thousand times!

Moreover… the combination of such difficulty and power is definitely not just a simple multiplication.

Even these numerous aberrant organisms, which appeared to have robust vitality, stood no chance against Lolth’s improved and enhanced tracking magic bullets…

There was no room for any resistance.

Most of the beings below the legendary level turned into dust and vanished almost instantly, just like the previous demons.

Those that were slightly more powerful… were merely blown into fragments.

The first wave of "testing" from the Evil God Plane lasted even shorter.

Those demons at least managed to endure the entire barrage of the extinction ray, which probably took about two or three sentences.

These aberrant organisms were completely annihilated in the blink of an eye!

Lolth showed no mercy.

The demons at least had a human form and intelligence.

Whether these aberrant organisms are covered by animal protection laws is hard to say!

The aberrant organisms in the sky turned into fragments and fell down like the Power of the Evil God. Lolth looked up at the crack, feeling the gaze from behind the gap, and raised her middle finger.

"Stop staring, you silly fool! Either project yourself down here or send some capable helpers!"

"And Hell thinks they are better than humans, right!"

"Do you send a few Holy Domain pawns and throw in nearly a hundred Superlative Level fighters to test the waters when you battle other alternate planes and other gods?"

"Don’t be ridiculous!"

Lolth spoke slowly and deliberately, issuing a challenge.

She knew that a half-plane was very tempting even for beings of divine level.

Especially for deities from alternate planes who wished to return to the main plane.

An unclaimed half-plane ruin with weak dimensional barriers was like a large piece of meat in front of a starving man.

So they would not give up on their "plans" just because of this level of setback.

For the demons of hell and deities with alternate planes, the recent loss was hardly a concern.

It was essential to make them realize more clearly that they could not take this place.

Only then would they retreat.

Lolth did not believe she could truly defeat a deity.

However, she should be able to make these guys pay a price they can’t overcome.

As long as those powerful beings think they cannot afford that "price" or that it far exceeds half-plane… they will give up.

Of course, if the other side gets desperate, they might really pay a huge price to descend in their true form…

Then Lolth will not panic.

If a powerful being does this, she just needs to hold them off!

The Demon King is already on his way, and the deities of the main plane are not to be trifled with.

Though Lolth is uncertain about the "degree" of power among the gods, she speculates…

In any case, if it comes to the point of a true form descending, it must be considered "overstepping the bounds"!

And before the true form descends, if it’s merely a projection…

The balance of strength remains uncertain.

This is Lolth’s conviction!

Of course, while it may sound straightforward, Lolth is aware that an actual battle would be nothing short of a brutal and grueling struggle!

She continued to fix her gaze intently on the rift in the Evil God Plane in the sky.

The Gate of Hell remained serene, but the rift of the evil god once again exhibited signs of disturbance.

Then, emerging from within…

Was a colossal…

Monster composed of flesh and blood.

It was a thousandfold more repugnant and terrifying than all the aberrant monsters combined, its massive form resembling a small mountain.

Even though this rift spanned nearly half the sky and was several dozen meters wide.

When this entity appeared, it seemed as though it was being "squeezed" out.

Writhing and emitting a nauseating sound accompanied by spine-chilling whispers, a composite monster with no discernible head, tail, or limbs, a mass of accumulated flesh and blood, gradually unveiled its entirety.

Its irregular shape continuously morphed, with both color and form remaining uncertain.

From the crevices in the flesh and blood, the Power of the Evil God incessantly surged forth, as if it were the very incarnation of that space.

This reaffirmed one thing for Lolth…

The origin of this abomination is indeed the same alternate plane that inflicted the curse upon Ann!

The sensation of revulsion is identical.

She had ventured into the Divine Kingdom of Plagues and the Divine Kingdom of the End…

Even within the Divine Kingdom of the plague, there existed twisted monstrosities…

But none were as repulsive as this!

The monsters of the plague exhibited signs of altered life force, which should have been normal magical creatures or even humans…

After all, it is the "power of the plague."

However, this entity seemed to have no order from the moment of its inception.

It was created solely to challenge the limits of human perception.

A life form that is utterly disordered and chaotic.

A true taboo and blasphemy!

In mid-air, with a diameter of at least a hundred meters, it floated slowly like a fleshy floating island.

It appeared to rotate halfway, and then…

It locked onto Lolth’s position.

Then, it slowly floated downwards towards the ground.

Even Five Colors couldn’t help but slightly change their expression at such a sight.

"Lord Lolth…"

In her nervousness, even the way she addressed her changed.

"It’s okay, it just looks a bit scary, a bit gross, and a bit big…"

Lolth gently rubbed Five Colors’ head.

"Rank is still demi-god."

"Demi-god… is useless."

As she said this, she activated her magic runes once more.

This time, more than half of the runes lit up!

Although she said "still a demi-god," this thing was clearly very different from the previous demon demi-god!

"It’s just a bit bigger," was Lolth’s way of comforting the girl.

In fact, just being bigger made it quite troublesome.

The magic power and life force were several times greater than the previous demon’s.

Although that demon might be more agile and smarter than this thing…

For Lolth, however, it was still the kind with strong life force, which made it even harder to deal with.

This should be the "monster" created by that evil god specifically for invading realms.

It seems to carry a hint of the rules of the Divine Kingdom.

In a way, this could even be seen as a "divine blessing" or perhaps… something closer to a "Divine Artifact."

It’s just that its form is that of a monster.

This means that ordinary magical attacks might have very little effect on it.

The "status" of gods determines that, besides their overwhelming power, they also possess "higher" attributes.

Divine power is more distinct than regular magical power.

This distinctness explains why only another god is qualified to challenge the God of War.

Ordinary magical power is too gentle for them.

A god with "divine power" is higher than normal spells and martial skills.

Ordinary magic might have some effect on them, but it will be much less effective.

In other words, a certain aspect of "divine power," which can be measured by its "density," is greater than ordinary magic.

It’s like using "ice magic" from the elemental plane and "frost divine power" from the frost goddess…

If you can use the latter to cast spells, the effect will be better than ice magic.

The downside of divine power is that it "belongs to someone."

But if you are the god themselves or chosen by the god…

Then this is no longer a downside.

The same goes for Divine Artifacts.

Because a Divine Artifact is like an extension of the divine itself.

But no matter how tricky it gets…

Lolth showed no signs of backing down.

Ordinary magic is less effective against powerful beings?

Then…

Let’s aim for three times more!

"Eternity is an illusion, immortality is a lie, destruction is the truth, and the only irreversible thing is the act of ‘dissipation’ itself!"

Rarely, Lolth softly began to chant the spell.

Even with the help of these magic runes, a spell is still needed to activate the technique…

A spell stronger than forbidden magic is being created.

It’s not just about magical power and output; this time, even the spell itself has reached the level of gods!

Lolth is not adept at mental spells; she might know no more than five spells that are mental magic, mystical techniques, and divine spells combined.

However, there is one type of magic that she knows even less of.

That does not mean Lolth is not skilled.

It’s just that… that type of magic is exceedingly rare.

"Even the gods cannot shake the essence of ‘time’ itself."

Rule-based, time magic.

Space and pure magic, compressed to the extreme, gather in Lolth’s hands.

Finally, they shook the most fundamental rules of this world.

Time magic, with no written records.

Only brief descriptions remain.

But Lolth had once ventured into this forbidden area, comparable to the Artificial Soul.

With her ability, she created the only existing time magic in this world.

"I’ll say it one last time, it’s time to speed up."

At the end of the spell, Lolth showed her full taste for mischief.

"Come on, just… die already!"

"Made In Heaven!"

Suddenly, the entire magical circuit that Lolth built lit up!
