Chapter 1424: Meng Xun Arrives

"A secret place has appeared in the Heavenly Hell Mountain Range. Sikong Shang and Xuan Shuang went in first, but only they managed to escape in a hurry. I haven’t seen Su Yi for a long time, so I guess he might be gone too!"

"Guessing? Gone?" a cold and sneering voice came out.

Nangong Hange turned around, raised an eyebrow, and coldly stared at Luan Shuo. He said a sentence that filled the air with killing intent.

An overwhelming aura quickly spread, and a cold gleam shot out from Nangong Hange’s eyes, directly pinning Luan Shuo on the spot. The atmosphere was extremely icy.

The initially extremely strange Luan Shuo was suddenly trembling with fear due to Nangong Hange’s presence. He seemed stunned, with his head hanging low, afraid to speak.

Nangong Hange rolled his eyes. He knew what kind of person Su Yi was. Someone who could escape from the Garuda Secret Realm would not believe that Su Yi would die easily. Luan Shuo’s carelessness made him feel a sense of unease.

However, whether Su Yi was alive or dead didn’t matter right now. What was most important was how to enter the Nine-star Disastrous Sea and seize the opportunity. Nangong Hange wanted to ensure that he was the most ahead.

A disciple from the Nine Star Valley, who had reached the Yuan Emperor Realm in cultivation, stood by and watched the conversation between Nangong Hange and Luan Shuo. He already felt a great sense of crisis and immediately retreated.

"City Master Nangong, we want to stop here! Ahead is the Sealed Thunder Valley, the Nine-star Disastrous Sea. We don’t want to go any further."

Nangong Hange’s lips curved into a slight smile as he looked back at the disciples who entered the valley with him. His cold gaze revealed a hint of darkness.

"Hehe, did my cousin say to let you all leave alive?" Luan Shuo immediately chimed in, wanting to regain his reputation from his recent mistake.

Crossing his arms, standing still, and looking at the disciples of Nine Star Valley, his evil grin made people inexplicably tense.

The disciples of Nine Star Valley stared dumbfounded at Luan Shuo, then looked at Nangong Hange with a silent smile. Knowing that the situation was grim, they suddenly felt a bit anxious.

The leader of the Nine Star disciples knew that there was no escape. The hand holding the Dao Tool trembled uncontrollably, and large beads of sweat slid down his forehead.

"City Master Nangong, please spare us. We will never reveal your secrets."

"The disciples of Nine Star Valley should not harm each other. City Master Nangong, please release us!"

The other disciples behind also pleaded desperately, their voices tinged with a hint of tears.

Nangong Hange politely bowed to the elegant disciples of Nine Star Valley, but instead, they became even more afraid, trembling and curling up in fear.

"If I release you, how can I enter the Nine-star Disastrous Sea without the power of the stars?"

It is impossible to enter the Nine-star Disastrous Sea without sufficient power of the stars. Nangong Hange made up his mind to enter the Nine Star Valley, even if it meant paying a price.

"Roar!"

"Bang!"

Nangong Hange then turned his head away from the people behind him and looked alone at the entrance of the disastrous sea, which was adorned with cloudy star patterns, carefully studying it.

Luan Shuo’s eyes glowed with a bloodthirsty look, muttering to himself and forming hand seals.

Suddenly, a black misty sword burst out from deep underground, causing the grass and trees on the ground to immediately decay and wither, creating a horrifying sight.

"Run!"

Several disciples from Nine Star Valley immediately activated their energy and ran away as fast as they could. The energy under their feet propelled them quickly.

"Boom!"

The great sword carried an immense momentum, like a fierce ghost chasing after them. It arrived swiftly in front of several disciples from Nine Star Valley, releasing a terrifying dark aura.

The pitch-black sword light drew an arc in the air, trapping the disciples from Nine Star Valley within it and gradually shrinking its range.

Several disciples from Nine Star Valley were surrounded. They tightly gripped their swords, their palms sweating profusely.

Immediately, a destructive aura spread from the swords to their arms and gradually enveloped their hands, like a dark snake entwining everyone.

"Help! Help!"

Horror filled the eyes of the disciples as they continuously slapped their hands and screamed. The black mist seemed to devour their souls, causing them to wither quickly. They barely had time to struggle before their heads tilted to the side, no longer making any sound.

It was only when the black mist dispersed that the relatively bulky bodies quickly shriveled up, like deflated balloons, and collapsed on the spot.

"Your Daini Asura Sword practice is quite good," Nangong Hange pondered, looking at the corpses on the ground, blood seeping out from the burnt wounds, staining the soil red.

"Thank you, cousin! It’s all thanks to you."

Luan Shuo’s eyes sparkled with excitement, emitting a dark light. His eyes were filled with bloodlust, like a bloodthirsty monster. Revealing his sharp white teeth, he handed several Starshine Tokens from his disciples’ arms to Nangong Hange.

As soon as he grasped the golden Starshine Token, Nangong Hange’s black hair immediately floated and his robe billowed. His aura surged, absorbing the moisture from the surrounding soil, forming a faint mist.

Within the mist, a sense of vitality filled the air. Dark gas surged, intertwining with the stars above, quickly giving off a terrifying and destructive aura, like the surging waves of the sea, swiftly seducing the stars.

After a while, Nangong Hange restrained his energy. His eyes were deep and bright, and on his translucent skin, several star patterns flowed.

In the distance, several figures flew towards them at high speed. Nangong Hange’s face immediately turned cold and fierce as he spoke to Luan Shuo beside him.

"Hide to the side and wait for the right moment to strike."

Luan Shuo nodded slightly, and the black gas once again filled his body. The two of them disappeared from their original spot together.

"Up ahead is the dangerous Nine-star Disastrous Sea. Hurry and find Su Yi!" Meng Xun’s voice echoed from afar, shouting angrily towards the sky.

In Meng Xun’s mind, he was certain that Su Yi is the one who killed the disciples. They had not found any trace of Su Yi along the way, which made Meng Xun more and more furious.

When Meng Xun and his companions arrived, they were shocked to see the gruesome state of the Nine Star Valley disciples in front of them.

"How come even the disciples of Nine Star Valley are dead?" whispered one of the elders from the Green Flame School. Meng Xun’s face became even more serious as he noticed the similarity between the deaths of the Nine Star Valley disciples and his own direct disciple.

Witnessing such a tragedy involving the Nine Star Valley disciples inside the Sealed Thunder Valley raised suspicions on all the sects present there.

"Could it be that Su Yi has already gone inside?"

Throughout the journey, they never caught sight of Su Yi. Su Yi was truly more powerful than Meng Xun, the top expert in the Yuan Zong Realm. Was it even possible to catch up to him?

Elder Meng Xun, with his vast experience, became more and more doubtful. If there had been a conflict between the Green Flame School disciples and Su Yi, it meant that Su Yi had a motive for murder.

However, there was no way Su Yi would ever kill the disciples of Nine Star Valley.

"Because of the Starshine Token?" whispered an elder from the Green Flame School.

Meng Xun focused his mind and indeed, all the disciples from the Nine Star School had lost their Starshine Tokens. But was it really Su Yi who did it?

Meng Xun calmed down and started to carefully analyze the situation in the valley.

"Something seems suspicious. You go ahead and check what’s in front, see if we can enter the disastrous sea."
