Dreaming to Become a Creator-Chapter 0103 – Evil
by WuWangChapter 103: Evil
“That woman actually took the bait.”
“Never thought that pretty boy meant so much to her. A minor provocation was enough to make her snap!”
“Is the ambush location set for tonight?”
“Western Suburbs. Fifty thousand pounds of explosives ready—just hope she shows up.”
Zhou Wang Boxing Hall now hosted over ten people, unlike last time. Alongside the original boxer, the tank-top man and cola man who’d targeted Chen Fei at the stadium were present.
This group belonged to an underground Transcendent organization—Evil!
Evil was chaos incarnate. Since its founding, its members had sown disorder wherever they appeared. The government once cracked down hard on them, later discovering they sought objects called Earth Spirits. Every attack site had one stolen.
Official records about Earth Spirits were sparse. Rumors linked them to Transcendent powers. After the government’s suppression, Evil went underground, battered and hunted. Now, shockingly, they’d resurfaced in the remote Jiang Yue City.
“Earth Spirits?”
Wu Qiuyue studied the intel, her gaze hardening.
In ancient times, Earth Spirits were called land deity seats. Gathering ten could awaken a higher City God seat—a divine power source. Evil’s goal horrified her. Negotiations were impossible: Earth Spirits formed Jiang Yue’s foundation. Every Transcendent here drew power from them. Stealing these would destroy their roots—an unforgivable act. Once you’ve tasted such power, becoming ordinary again is unthinkable.
“Their motives don’t matter. Jiang Yue is ours!”
Behind Wu Qiuyue stood dozens of black-clad figures—Jiang Yue’s Transcendent guardians. She led them.
“Zero. Update on Evil?”
A purple-haired girl with a skull-patterned eye mask tapped her keyboard, displaying Zhou Wang Boxing Hall’s live feed.
“All monitored. Their plan’s an ambush in Western Suburbs.”
Zero, a special Awakened One, controlled electronics. Evil’s “covert” moves were fully exposed.
“Western Suburbs? Perfect.”
“Remote. Ideal for cleaning up.”
“Move out at 2 AM. Eliminate them all.”
“Crush those lunatics!”
A Wealthy Merchant-looking ability user spat hatefully. He’d avoid this fight if possible.
After comprehending the tank-top man’s superpower, Chen Fei grew stronger.
He realized his perception had mutated—he could now copy any power he witnessed, like reflecting attacks. Checking everyone he’d met today confirmed this was unique to him. His “golden finger” cemented his belief in being special—exactly the effect Zuo Meng wanted.
“From their earlier talk, someone’s targeting Wu Qiuyue.”
Chen Fei returned home.
After dinner, he told his parents he’d be out overnight.
The tank-top man’s seed mark inside him only worked on ordinary people. Having underestimated Chen Fei, the man never imagined his “ordinary” target could both destroy the seed and master his power. The seed’s nature became clear—primal coercion for controlling victims during critical moments, like ambushing Wu Qiuyue.
“They ambushed me. Time to repay the favor.”
Chen Fei extracted the seed—a flickering green eye, half-real, requiring special energy to touch.
“Western Suburbs?”
He sealed the seed. Destroying it now would alert the tank-top man.
“Revenge tonight. And uncover Wu Qiuyue’s secrets.”
Donning a prepped black raincoat and mask, he melted into shadows like a rain-soaked slasher movie killer. Certain no traces remained, he activated inner energy and vanished into darkness.
Zuo Meng observed Chen Fei’s every move.
“I need deeper understanding of this world’s superpowers and rules.” More pawns contacting Transcendents meant more rules to exploit, further eroding this reality.
Absolute power would let him rewrite the titan’s perception effortlessly.
Guided by the seed’s resonance, Chen Fei reached a Western Suburbs logistics warehouse. Jiang Yue City relied on river transport—this dock-adjacent warehouse sat isolated, empty except for night guards and cargo after dark.
Vaulting containers, he landed at a three-story white building.
Scouting showed no activity. He cleared the wall into the courtyard.
“Well, well. Uninvited guest?”
A Yellow-haired guy with earrings materialized silently—another ability user.
Chen Fei’s mask hid all expression.
“Hiding your face? Definitely up to no good.” The youth’s cocky tone reeked of overconfidence.
“But whoever—”
Whoosh!
Chen Fei blurred forward.
A blade-like hand clamped the Yellow-haired guy’s throat mid-sentence. Uncertain of enemy strength, Chen Fei struck full-force—only to find his opponent pathetically weak.
